Take 3

Well my life definitely took over this week and this is the first time I've been anywhere near blogger since Monday so I apologise for no commenting or crafting....I think it's going to be like this for a couple of weeks :-(....

Anyhow, it is Saturday and I've managed to sneak in my craft room for a short while as I have some commissions I have to do before I'm off to Doncaster and Lincoln until Tuesday. 2. Week 22 [July 2nd] Colour Shades of Blue
3. Week 16 [May 21st] Theme Butterfly/Butterflies
But it covers so many more of them.... Here it is....

I'm not that happy with the sentiment placement and the photo to be honest so I may be back later in the week... if I can manage to leave work at at reasonable time lol....

Sizzix: Tim Holtz Butterflies
Papers: Pink Petticoat ( and out of my scrap draw too...)

Ahoy There!

Well I've been trying to think of different ways to use my ink for a few days now and at one point I have very purple fingers from leaky Adirondack Eggplant colour wash... I was about to give up completely when this weeks challenge at Passion for promarkers gave me some inspiration (even though I can't enter as I didn't use them lol).  Here's my little pirate.....

I've painted the image with distress inks and then also used an inkylicious duster around the edges to age the card stock further and then I also gave it a bit of a sand too.... lol..

Meet Gizmo The Scops Owl

So I've spent this afternoon with Alistair and my Mum on a Falconry Experience at Wild Wings Birds of Prey Centre in Worsley and It was amazing... just wanted to show you a little photo....

You may see some Owl/Birds of Prey cards on my blog in the near future.... and they will be donated to the centre to sell in their little shop.  They do such a great thing there and everyone is a volunteer so they are dependant on donations... Thought this could be my little crafty way of giving something back to them..

Hope you all had a great day.. I'm now off to finish my friend Suzy's wedding invites... Sneak Peak later tonight....

Hope this is OK Lady & Diva LIM lol). Here it is...

I used a Magic Dots prick tool to punch holes around the end and then hand sewed it all ( hmmm I really need to get a proper sewing machine).  I added the sentiment into the stitching too...
