Morning.... I have another little share with you today from the next LOTV release out on 26th Feb 2019!

This has to be one of my favourite images of the release... love the cute hedgie

I coloured in the image with my copics and then mounted on some gingham dsp from stampin up.  finished of with a matching sentiment from the set (which i coloured over with a matching copic marker as I didn't have any card the right colour).  Finished off with some simple doodling and a white gel pen.

Hello Penguin

Morning.... Thought I would share a quick card with you this morning using the Festive Folk set from Lili Of The Valley.

This one is a rubber set but in case you want any digi images you only have until tomorrow to pick them up before they are no longer available!

The image was stamped onto Neenah Solar white card stock and coloured in with Copic markers. I then fussy cut around the cute penguin extending the base out to give some snow.

I splattered Copic Opaque White onto a scrap of dark blue card stock and then trimmed each into a panel using avery elle pierced rectangle. A quick hello sentiment from CBS and then mounted onto a card base made from Neenah 110lb card stock.

I am off to watch OVO Cirque du Soleil this afternoon with my Mum then hopefully I will make it to the Ice hockey tonight.

Hope you all have a great Saturday

Season's Greetings

Hey Y'all, hope you have had a great week.  Only a couple more cards to share as inspiration for Mondays Hochanda release.  Again this is from Christmas Friends set and this was my favourite card! It's available HERE

I coloured the reindeer in with copic markers before carefully fussy cutting out the image leaving a small white border.
I cut out a panel with the pierced rectangle die from avery elle and then embossed this with the softy falling EF from Stampin U|p.  Its finished off with a sentiment on black card from a retired Stampin Up set.
I then added the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist card base.

That's all from me for today... hope you all have a lovely Friday!

Merry Christmas

Good Morning.... I have some more inspiration from this weeks Hochanda LOTV sets from Monday.  This has to be one of my favourite examples I made. It uses an image from the Christmas Friends set which you can find HERE

I coloured the image in with copics and added some glossy accents to the nose and baubles before mounting it behind a stitched circle aperture made from Neenah Desert storm card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from Clearly Besotted stamps onto black card stock and then heat embossed it with WOW ultra white embossing powder.
I added some glitter to the Santa and then placed the sentiment on foam tape over the circle.

I have a few more to share with you over the next couple of days then no more christmas cards for a while!

have a great Thursday

Winter Wishes

Morning.... I have another one of the Hochanda samples to share with you today... this is from the Festive Folk set and you can find it on the website HERE

I just love these cute owls and the Scandinavian styling. I went for purples and blues for my colour theme!

I coloured in the image on neenah card stock with copic markers and added a little glitter pen to the hearts and bobbles on the hats.  I trimmed down the panel so the branch was hanging over the edge before mounting it onto a card based made of Rich Razzleberry card stock from Stampin Up.
I added a sentiment from an old LOTV set onto a strip of the same coloured card with white embossing powder and finished it off with some sequin strip down the edge.

I have a few more example to show you this week so I will see you tomorrow....

Deck The Halls

Morning, so I hope you enjoyed yesterdays Hochanda shows... I have some more inspiration from the cards shared on the show yesterday....

This one is from Christmas Friends and it's currently still available to purchase from HERE

For this image I coloured it in with copic markers before using a pierced rectangle die from Avery Elle to edge the panel. I added lots of distress glitter to the star and some sparkle and white gel pen to the bauble.
I mounted the panel onto neenah dessert storm card stock before finishing it off with a simple sentiment from a retired Stampin Up set.

That's all from me for today.. I will have some more LOTV samples to share with you for the rest of the week as ideas of what to do with your stamps when they arrive...

Have a lovely Tuesday

You Passed

Morning.... Hope you all have had a great weekend.  I'm back today with another LOTV card for you and this time its a shaker card.

I have used a fairly new image, Oliver - Driving Test and fussy cut around the image within the frame to give a window.
The image is coloured in with Copic markers and then mounted on some acetate. I used the stripes embossing folder from Stampin Up and real red card stock for the surround. The shaker is filled with little silver stars from Lucys' Little Things.

I added some detail onto the the number plate and then mounted the whole thing onto a white card base.

This card has a little more than what I normally add but its fun making shaker cards once in a while and I loved the idea of him throwing the learner plates in the air!

Hope you all have a fabulous Monday

Edward the Scruffy Elephant

Happy Saturday Peeps... I have another card for you using the new LOTV release that's was out earlier this week. This one is using Scruffy Edward.  He has def been a favourite within the design team.

I printed off the image onto neenah card stock before colouring in with copic markers. This a a fabulous image for beginners as it has some larger areas for you to practice your shading.
I added a simple sentiment from Clearly Besotted stamps and then trimmed down the panel before mounting it onto to some lemon and lime twist card stock from stampin up. The panel is then mounted onto a pacific point card base from stampin up.

I extended out the line across the bottom of the image and added a little shading to it.

That's all from me for today.. hope you have a fabulous Saturday

Best Friends

Morning.. Happy Saturday everyone! I have a busy weekend ahead so I did a little crafting on Thursday evening and made about 8 cards! I have no idea where my mojo has re-appeared from but I am making the most of it!

This was one of the cards I made for this weeks CAS(e) This Sketch. I'm not really one for creating scenes with masking but I had this idea for the sketch and the little kitties from Simply Sweet Stamps were Purrfect!

I stamped the cats onto masking paper and then using my misti I stamped the cats to show at the front and then masked them off one by one until I have created the little groups. Unfortunately they are now only available as a digi set so this would be more difficult.

I then coloured in the cats using my copic markers, adding some bright colours to them.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I trimmed the panel before mounting it on a basic black card base from Stampin Up.

I really love how the card turned out!

Here is the sketch from CAS(e) This Sketch #269 that I used for inspiration.

Hope you all have a fabulous Saturday...

Babys Washing Line

Hey Y'all.... I have another card using an image from this weeks New beginnings release from Lili Of The Valley.  This super cutie is washing line!

I sized the digi stamp to be 14.5 cm wide so it fit across the card panel, although I had to draw in the washing line to connect it to the side of the panel which was easily done with a fine liner from copic.
I then coloured in the image using copic markers and added a sentiment from Clearly Besotted stamps.
Its finished off with a little wink of stella and some doodles around the edge of the panel before being mounted on a Sweet Sugarplum cardstock base from Stampin Up.

I am really loving the back grounds from Photoboards so cannot wait to get it all set up properly when they arrive.

Hope you have a great Thursday

Hope Your Day Is Magical... LOTV Sneak Peek!

Morning.... before I take a few weeks break again I thought I would share a card using one of the new images from Lili Of The Valley.  These are out on Monday 5th March in digi format! There are 12 images of girls and fairies in total!

I could not resist this little cutie ..

I have kept the card simple and used some brighter colours to colour in the scene.  I wasn't sure if it was a bee or a butterfly, but I chose a bee just to be different!

I've have been crafting away in the back ground the last few weeks but seem to keep starting and stopping with the blogging as I run out of time... My globetrotting will be coming to an end by June 1st so fingers crossed I have more time for crafting and blogging. Once the travel starts again next week, I will be having an extended break until at least mid April as I go into the last phase of this project at work!

Hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday

Happy Christmouse

Morning, Today's card is inspiration for the LOTV August Facebook challenge which is Christmas. You can find it HERE and you have until the 16th to enter for a chance to win some LOTV gift vouchers.

Keeping to my usual style I have simply stamped the image on the card and coloured with copics, added some glitter and a simple sentiment.
Sometimes I feel like my LOTV cards are boring but I really do like to make the image the main focus of the card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Happy Christmouse from LOTV, Tiny Type from CBS
Card: Neenah Solar White, Real Red from SU

Hope you all have a fabulous Saturday!

Welcome Baby!

Morning... I absolutely love this little Rocker Bunny Digi stamp from LOTV.  This card I made for a ex work colleague who had a beautiful baby girl a few weeks ago preemie and I finally went got to meet her last week!

It's coloured in with copics and then simply stitched around the edge with a simple sentiment (think its SU).

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday.... My weekend in London went so fast I could do with an extra day to recover!

Just A Note...

Morning.. It's been a while since I entered a challenge but I saw this weeks CAS(e) This Sketch and had an idea to use a part of a panel I had coloured a few months ago and had no idea what to do with.

This uses one of the LOTV stamp sets Little Critters - Little Fishes and I stamped the fishes multiple times over an A6 piece of card.  The back ground is done using copics and I was practising from when I did my copic 1 & 2 classes back in March.

I marked off an area and then cut the straight lines avoiding the fish which were then fussy cut!

This is the sketch for this week... CTS #232

I'm off to London this weekend but I will hopefully be back next week.. Have a great Friday!

Merry Christmouse... Another LOTV Sneak Peek

Morning... yes I'm back two days in a row!  I have another LOTV share for you today from the Christmas release out tomorrow!!

This is Christmouse Pudding... I absolutely adore this stamp

The little guys are coloured in with copics and then I have run the piece through the linen texture plate from papertrey ink and finished the edge off with a die.

After spending nearly all of yesterday tiding up the craft studio and organising things, relabelling my distress inks I think its now much more user friendly.  I think the label machine may hate me after I labelled over 300 LOTV stamps and put two per pouch to save some space!

I have some more bits to do yet but once done there will be more goodies to add to my craft stash sale page on facebook next weekend when I get chance to photograph it all. You can find the page on the link below in the meantime

I'm off to the gym, then back to the studio to finish off my organising and maybe actually do some crafting!

Have a fabulous Sunday!
