Luna Bitterfrost!

I was really unsure if I would have much time for any crafting until the weekend but I managed to sneak in a little hour tonight after I picked up Luna when I bought the new Christmas images from Polly Craft that Paula has on offer for just one day.... Here she is....

I decided that I wanted to give the image a more "shabby" look so I decided to do cross hatching where I needed to use black rather than promarkers using a Letraset 0.1 Fine Liner.

Summer Fields

Morning LIMettes, well it's Saturday yet again and I'm not up as early as I normally am this week.  Anyhow Lady & Diva LIM have given us a sketch this week at Less Is More and I had about a million ideas so you may see me a couple of times this week lol... here is the card I made...

Using a coloured card blank in pale yellow (I do like not white card blanks if you hadn't all already noticed lol),  I have put 3 circles into the co-ordination card with a nestie and then raised this off using foam pads ( I know... but they don't squash lol) and put DP behind it... It's finished off with the little butterflies. I have left it without a sentiment as I am going to use it as a little notelet. Simple

Card Recipe:

DPs: First Edition Daydream (Birthday Pressie from my Mum)
Green Card: Co-ordinations.
Butterfly: Martha Stewart Punches
Pearls: Hobby House

Hope you all have a fab day... I may or may not be back a little later depending on how I get on with Rosie & Ians table plan lol....

A Corner of Butterflies

Well I'm supposed to be working on a couple of commissions but I'm struggling to decide on where to put thing, so I thought I'd make this quick one as I had the idea the other day and thought I would give it a go.... It happens to fit in with this weeks LIM challenge of "Pick a Square".  Here it is...

It's simply a butterfly cut from the corner using Martha Stewart punch anywhere butterfly and then scattered with a few of the same butterflies.  The backing paper on the inside and for the butterflies is GCD Melody Ross Lydia collection from Range in the sale ages ago... one of those I found whilst looking for something else lol.....

Hope you like it....

P.S sorry if I've not commented yet.... I'll be catching up later on, but there are loads of fab cards this week....

It's The Little Things....

*** 4 of 100 in the 100 Card Challenge for Macmillan***

So this little number is a very quick make "because" I didn't read the rules correctly at CAS-ual Fridays and entered the last one into more than the allowed challenges ( they had changes the rules lol).  The very lovely Michele let me know via email so I couldn't resist having to make another one.... and yet another excuse to use more butterflies lol.... It of course then fits into LIM Butterflies ( yes again lol).. Here it is...

The sentiment is again from Tim Holtz Stamper Anonymous but this time from "Natures Elements".  The paper is Shabby Princess Sweet Sprinkles collection (if you haven't come across Shabby yet then you are missing out on fab "free" papers). I've use a cuttle bug embossing folder the wrong way up and then finished the edge with a little ribbon.  The butterflies are punches from Martha Stewart and then it's blinged up with gems from the Hobby House and finished by rounding off the corners.  Not bad for about 10 mins work ...

Thanks for visiting

Rainbow Butterflies

Well it's Saturday again LIMettes and I'm hopefully back in the swing of things after a couple of crazy weeks. I'm late with this today as I nipped to the craft show at Aintree this morning to pick up a couple of things... This weeks challenge theme sits close to my heart  - Butterfly - so expect a few entries this week lol.  So here is the card.

Not like I didn't already have enough butterfly goodies, but I picked up Martha Stewart's Clear Stamps - Doily Butterfly this morning, so I just had to use it.  It's stamped with a rainbow of momento inks and simply finished off with some black ribbon and a few pearls.  Hope you like it and have a great weekend

Congratulations Little Butterflies

Well I'm a day behind this week on my Less is More challenge which this week is Thanks or Congratulations but I did manage to get one done this morning.  I've got a free morning to do a little crafting and catch up as I've not managed to do any since last Wednesday ;-(... Anyhow enough waffling here is my LIM card....

The butterflies are Martha Stewart classic butterfly punches (standard punch and punch anywhere). These are cut from pink petticoat paper scraps ( I'm being good) and mounted in line with this weeks Clean & Simple challenge sketch. The sentiment is from a really old woodware clear stamp set and I wish I had printed it from PC really but for some reason my PC couldn't find my printer... It's finished off with some pearls from The Hobby House.  I'm also entering this into this weeks Crafty Catz challenge which is congratulations.

Anyhow, I'll probably be back later with more cards... Have a great day in the sun

Spring Chick

I'm thinking that I must have been reading Mary and Andrea's mind for this months Ribbon Girl Challenge when earlier in the week I ordered the Ribbon Kit in yellow, as it couldn't have been more perfect for the Green & Yellow challenge..  I am also combining this with this weeks Penny Black challenge which is Spring is Sprung, Sketch n Stash #57 Sketch and DYSU #11 - Add a Bow.  Here is the card..

The image is Penny Blacks Spring Chick which I picked up from the sale stamps at Hobby craft a couple of years ago after Easter and I have coloured in with pro-markers ( satin, tan, blender, blossom, buttercup, tulip yellow, ice grey 1).  The tail is finished off with a little bob tail made from the white pom poms cut up....

I've been fairly bold on the colour scheme, and I've used some pearlescent chocolate brown paper from Anna Marie Designs and the yellow paper is MME Stella & Rose, and I've use one of the Martha Stewart Border punches as well as some of the yellow ribbon from the kit from the Ribbon Girl.  It's finished off with chocolate brown card candy and a simple sentiment from "Tiny Sentiments" by wood ware.

Hope you like it
