Pink Leopard Print 18th

I've had a few commissions to do including two cards and gift cards for Jo at work for her daughters 18th... The spec I was given is "Pink & Leopard Print".  This is what I came up with for the first one using the sketch from Mojo Monday....

The paper is Pink Petticoat, Ribbon from stash and I've use Martha Stewart punch for the edging and finished off with a little black glitter and some black dewdrops from the Ribbon Girl.

Hope you like it

Make a Wish

I'm doing well crafting this weekend, even though I've mad busy.  Just got back from weekend in Yorkshire seeing Avenue Q in Sheffield and visiting the BF parents in Doncaster.  I've managed to get this little one done based on the Penny Black sketch. Here is the card.... But I wish you could see how sparkly it really is....

The image is Penny Blacks Cat on the Moon which I have coloured in with watercolours.  I've glittered the moon and stars with clear glitter and then cut out with nesties.  The pale pink paper is from scrap box and the spotty glittered paper is from First edition Love stack.  The rick rack is from East of India.  The glitter buttons are from American crafts and the gems from Hobby house.  The sentiment is from a Penny Black T for transparent set.

I'm entering this into the following challenges...
penny black - sketch
charizma cards - bling and sparkles
paper pretties - bring on the bling

Hope you like it....

Birdhouse & Top 3 @ Little Claires ( Again!!)

If you would have asked me a few weeks ago when I started blogging if I would win even one Top 3 I would have laughed, but now I'm on my 3rd of the week and each one has been a surprise, none more that this as I won it in the last challenge too... I'm finishing off the week with my entry into Little Claire's Challenge 4 - Spring....Here is my card

I've kept this one very simple using one of the Digi images from Little Claire's, Birdhouse.  I Printed off twice and then used a decoupage effect for the birdhouse, birds and flowers to give it some dimension.  The image is coloured in with promarkers (tan, cinnamon, cocoa, blossom, pink carnation, poppy, lavender, lilac, pear, moss, buttercup, mustard, pastel blue, denim) and finished off with some pink 23mm ribbon and a simple sentiment from a fizzy moon set.

I hope you like it....

Under the Sea - Spots & Dots One Stop Craft Challenge DT

Well I;m here with my first official DT card for One Stop Craft Challenge and this weeks theme is Spots & Dots.  This is what I came up with....

The image is Dude time doodles and I've printed this onto Tangerine fairy dot paper from Pink Petticoat.  I've then cut this out and place over a circular aperture decorated as the sea.
The fish stickers are from Mei Flower and the coral look beads from my stash... Hope you like it... Enjoy this week's challenge....

Touch of a Red Poppy

Well it's Saturday morning and that means only one thing... A new Less Is More challenge and this week it's a touch of red.  Since I'd not made my own Mums Mothers day card yet I thought this would be perfect.  Here is the card....

The poppies are made using the scrunch method that Jo showed me at Harrogate although I've flattened them back down again, the centres are gem brads from the sale at hobby craft ( sorry don't know make).  The swirl is Sizzix bigz die Flourish and Leaf and the sentiment was printed on PC (Hill House font)

Hope you like it, I'm sure my mum will

Gift Wrapped With Love x

Well I'm back again with my second card for tonight.  I do love those evening where I can lock myself away in the craft room and create lol xx.  Here is the card....

The image is a gorgeous LOTV stamp called Gift Wrapped.  This is coloured in with promarkers (Ice grey 1-3, buttercup, mustard, lavender, lilac, amethyst, khaki, blossom ,blender).  It's mounted on yellow bazzil bling card stock and then onto Pink Petticoats Pretty Doodles paper in lavender.  The ribbon and buttons are from the Yellow mix bag from the ribbon girls and the bit of glitter on the ribbon and butterflies is clear from glitter magic.

This one was inspired by a number of challenges and I've entered it into the following:
LOTV - spring
Crafts and Me - Use yellow
Flutterby Wednesday - buttons and bows
Stamp Something - Use Digi ( Digi Papers)
Hope you like it.... Ill be back bright and early for Less is More in the morning.

Zooming Along Now You Passed & Top 3 @ I Love Promarkers

Well I have a really good week with Top cards with my 3rd of the week (not really sure how) coming from one of my favourite cards "Leap frog over the dots". I was a little surprised to say the least.

Anyhow, enough waffling, here is my entry into this weeks Cards for Men #7 - Embossing and I Love Promarkers #59 - Emboss it! As well as Totally Papercrafts One for the Boys. Here is the card....

The image is LOTVs Zooming Along, which I have coloured in with promarkers (Poppy, Cardinal, Berry, Black, Ice Grey 1,3,4,5, Cocoa, Tan, Cinnamon, Pear, Moss, Pastel Blue, Buttercup, Blender). I have then cut out the image and added a little glitter to the "Angel".  This is then positioned on a road made of black card embossed with Sizzix embossing folder - Tim Holtz Gridlock.  I've used some of the white ribbon that come from the lovely packaging from the Ribbon Girl to make the road markings and then mounted the lot onto MME Bloom & Grow paper.  The Red crimped paper was from the papermill shop and the image is printed from PC and cut out using my nesties.  It's finished off with some black card candy.

Hope you like it....
