One Stop Craft Challenge DT - In Stitches

Morning All,  it's Saturday again and that means time for a new challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge.  The theme for this week is In Stitches. I do hope you pop over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of our fab DT have come up with this week...I'm sure it will inspire you to join in with this weeks challenges. Anyhow here is my card....

The DP is made using an Image from Diane's Digital Designs Using Adobe Illustrator. The sentiment and bobbins are from Pink Petticoat and the buttons, twine and seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.  The thread was from my ancient embroidery stash.  Hope you pop along to the challenge

I also used the sketch from Mojo Monday....

Me and My Cat

So today's I Love Promarkers challenge is not to use DPs.... I do love challenges like this as not so long ago I rarely used any DPs at all. I've tried to give it some dimension so the photos were not easy to take.  I've also entered this one into My Mums Craft Shop challenge which this week is "Flowers".  Here is the card.......

The image is from LOTV "Me and My Cat", I've coloured in with promarkers ( Ice Grey 1,2,4, Khaki, Marsh, Olive, Amethyst, Orchid, Tan, Cinnamon, Chestnut, Ginger, Spice, Apricot, Oatmeal, Buttercup, Mustard, Cerise, Rose, Pale Pink, Baby Pink, Blossom). The sentiment is also from LOTV.  I've used a sizzix embossing folder ( one of the Tim Holtz ones) to emboss the stone effect and then rubbed in memento ink ( grey, brown and black) to get the stone effect.  It's finished off with a couple of butterfly's and a scrap of ribbon.

Hope you like it....

Dino Makes Me Smile...

Well my lost mojo seems to have semi returned this morning (Phew) so here I am with a quick card for this weeks Passion For Promarker Challenge which is "Pre-Historic". It's also Digital Tuesday and this week's challenge is a sketch by Natascha.  It also fits in with this weeks Crafty Catz # 79 - Children's Cards.

The Image is Eric from Digi Stamp Boutique and it's coloured in with my trusty promarkers ( Moss, Pear, Marsh, Tan, Cinnamon). The papers are from My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus collection. The sentiment is from Scrap-A-Licious. Buttons are from my stash and twine from the Ribbon Girl.

Hope you like it

Autumn Silhouettes

Yes I know, bit early for autumn yet, but I was at Lizy's last night and borrowed these stamps from kanban and I was really struggling with my mojo.... so I just wanted to make a quick card.  I used the sketch from  sweet Sunday sketch 114 as a little inspiration.  Here is the card....

Image is from Kanban Set Autumn Silhouettes and is stamped with rich cocoa memento ink. The spotty paper is In the Meadow from Nitwit collections free with a magazine and the ribbon from a really old making memories ribbon card.  The button from the extras from clothing.

Hope you like it

Snorkeling Bunny

So when I saw this Tiddly Inks image I could just not resist in buying it.... How perfect a little Snorkeling Bunny... And I thought I would sneak this into today's Cupcake Crafts Challenge for my last entry before I am guest designer in May.... Now I bet Faye and the Guys never thought that this weeks theme of "Fluffy Bunnies" would see this image LOL.... I'm also going to enter it into this weeks Sketch n Stash which is Any Sketch and I'm using sketch #42 from their challenge.  It's also of course an entry into the Tiddly Inks challenge -Your A Stitch.  Here is the card....

So the image is Snorkel Bunny and I've coloured this with my promarkers ( Cool Aqua, Turquoise, Powder Blue, Cobalt, China Blue, Lime, Cinnamon, Mustard, Ice Grey 1,2, Pale Pink, Blender). Papers are Pink Petticoat Teal plain. The card blank was a 5 x 7 Blank that I've cut to 5" square. I've faux stitched it (partly because my little sewing machine decided to misbehave :-( ...silly thing). It's finished off with a couple of dew drops...

Hope you like it...I've off to Lizy's now for a full evening of crafting LOL...

Little Einsteins for Keiran....

Well here is the second card for Keiran... using Little Einsteins as the theme... I sort of followed the sketch at "Sew Many Cards #51".

Images are from colouring sheets found from google again, coloured in with promarkers ( far to many to name LOL).  The blue spotty paper is MY OWN lol courtesy of a little work with Adobe Illustrator as i couldn't find black spots on a colour in any of my papers digi or printed lol. Sentiment is printed from PC.

Hope you like it... I'm off for an Easter Egg Hunt at Lizy's once I've put the finishing touches to my famous cheesecake..... Have a great Sunday
