You're Always There For Me

Morning..

I thought I would share a really quick card for you today from the Stampin Up order I placed at the beginning of the month. It arrived last week so I had a quick crafting session last night when I got home from Germany (I was supposed to be tidying up and sorting out bits for my stash sale).

These ladybugs are so cute I could not resist!

The Travelling Mojo

Morning... Before I share my Less is More card I just wanted to explain where my life is up to.  I've done so little blogging this year that most of you have forgotten who I am.

Life has been a little more than hectic for the last 2 years due to work travel and whilst I have struggled to keep up with blogging I never wanted to give it up... I'm not sure how often I will be on here but in the background I have spent some time crafting but never managed the energy to type up a post on here.  Over the last couple of months I think I must have left my mojo on one of my travels and have made exactly 2 cards (although I have been out of the country pretty much weekly since Easter).

Whilst in Singapore and Japan at the beginning of June I decided that I was going to look for inspiration even though I could not actually make a card I spent spare time watching millions of You Tube videos and hopefully they have inspired my to try something a little different.

So, I have decided to just simply create, pick up some supplies I want to use and make a card instead of feeling like I am forcing myself to make cards. I'm not saying I won't enter any challenges or anything but I'm probably just going to share because I want to and not worry about using retired stamps on my creations any longer!

I'm hoping to streamline down some of my craft stash as I feel over whelmed with the amount of things I have (look out for a de-stash soon) and ensure my Craft Studio works well for me instead of constant clutter.

Although there will always be travel in my job, and I'll never know when I can post I want to enjoy crafting and blogging again.... and seeing new places is always inspiring...

That's enough waffling... On to a card for today for Less Is More.. and a brand new technique for me.. Faux Bleach..... I used a stamp that sums me up perfectly at the moment...

I finally managed to pick up this little Altenew stamp a couple of weeks ago after it being out of stock . I think this will def be a technique to try again...

You Go Girl - LOTV Facebook Challenge

Hey there.. Yes I know I've been a stranger, work is beyond crazy and I'm currently in Japan!

Coloured with Copics and fussy cut I added a simple Hero Arts sentiment!

Geo Birthday!

Morning... It's has been a lovely week up near Lake Como in Italy and I have a couple of days at home now before Dubai so I sneaked in a little card making this morning.

I've not made a One Layer Card for a long time... This week over at Less Is More the challenge is Geometry and here is what I came up with:

I stamped the sentiment using the Misti and then masked it off with some tape before colouring the Embossing Paste with a re-inker. One Layer with lots of texture!

Lost Lagoon

Morning LIMettes.... It's been a couple of weeks since I posted anything, I actually have cards to show you, just not had time to edit and type up the posts ...

Since I am up early, I thought I would join in with this weeks Less Is More.  It's a colour challenge and the team have chosen Not White... how perfect for me with my love of coloured card bases!!

This is what I chose to do.... I have so much designer paper I am trying to use it up ....

Lost Lagoon is one of my favourite In Colours from Stampin Up... I'll be sad to see it go in June!

I've also used the amazing new Sketch sentiments from Lili Of The Valley... Perfect size for card making... I love them!!
