You're A Star

Morning.... I'm back again today with a Craft Stash DT card using some stunning red glimmer paper for a movie star worthy card....

The backdrop of stars sits perfectly behind the bold sentiment, I really am happy how this card turned out.

It's a busy week at the moment and I am still trying to fit in the gym and sorting out the craft room .. there are boxes everywhere at the moment and I just keep moving them around from one place to the other as I craft.

Dashing Through The Snow...

Morning... Lazy crafting day yesterday meant that I managed to get ahead on my DT cards and make this cutie for the CAS(e) This Sketch challenge....

I really wanted to show you how you can use LOTV stamps to make a one of those popular scene cards.  This image is retired but it was perfect for the sketch.

I started by stamping the image onto Neenah White card stock and then again onto masking paper and cutting out the top section around the polar bear and penguin. I covered up the stamped image and bottom section and using a blending tool with Tumbled Glass and Weathered Wood distress inks, I carefully blended away from the image to the top of the card piece.  Once this was done I then coloured in the image with Copics.

The sentiment was straightened using the MISTI (it's perfect for this) and then stamped on the panel, then the card is finished off with white gel pen and a little stickles.

Wonderful In Every Way

Morning... So I had a wonderful and somewhat expensive day at the NEC yesterday and managed to pick up a few things off my list (Versa Magic Inks and Nuovo Drops) and lots of things that were not on my list.. Ooooppps... I'll take a photo later when I get chance to show you tomorrow.

I also got to meet the lovely Craft Stash team so I thought I would share an Unblogged DT Card with you today... The photo is rather bad though :-(

Always Kind..... and I Have a Little Surprise For You.....

Surprise Surprise LIMettes.. I'm back after a very extended sabbatical from the design team... 20 months to be precise.  I only every thought I would take 6 months off but then my role changed at work and having time to craft was a struggle never mind any DT work.  The team has also changed in this time, and has been extended from the small team but I am really excited to be back on board !

It's the first week on the month which means it's a colour challenge and this week we would like you to use the colours:

Purple & Gold

I only managed to get one card made for this weeks challenge given the timescale on deciding to come back.  Here it is....

Penguin Presents and a New LOTV Challenge

Howdy

Howdy All..... I love this cute Mama Elephant Rowdy Raccoons set which I purposely bought for the cowboy theme.. reminded me of being a kid running around my Granddad's house with my brother and cousin.  I had to create this simple one layer card!

Now that I finally finished painting the Craft Studio I hope that i will be able to finish tidying it up this weekend to take a few pictures on Sunday... That is after I have put away what I buy at the NEC on Saturday!

Bah Humbug

Morning.... Happy 1st November.... Halloween is done now so before you know it, Christmas songs will be playing on the radio....

I'm starting with an anti-christmas card today using this fabulous grumpy penguin.  How fabulous is this little guy?

I am hoping to get my photo lights set up tonight so the pictures come out a lot better, especially with the dark nights we now have.
