In the shadows and some news

Morning LIMettes.. so firstly I have some news... I'm taking a break from Less Is More and from blogging/crafting for a while... Although I may pop up with a card every now and then I have so much going on with work and travel that something has to give and for the moment it is card making.

So this is my last Less Is More card for a while...

The theme this week is Shadows and I have created mine with die cute words on a Distress Oxide back ground ...

Morning LIMettes... I'm still not really crafting at the moment but this week we have a new challenge over at Less is more which is Stripes ...
I am still having to type up posts on my phone which is quite difficult

I have used one of the new images from lotv and this is one of the 70s girls

Once again I'm sorry I've not had chance to visit many of you , I'm off to California with work this week as the travel kicks back in after 7 months pretty much at home

Spring Hop

Morning LIMettes, hope you all are enjoying the long Easter weekend.  There is a new challenge over at Less Is More this week and the theme is Spring Walk.. How could i not use this super cute bunny hop stamp now available in digi from this months sponsor - Lili Of The Valley

Strength

Morning LIMettes another crazy week and no view of it stopping so still no crafting (luckily I was a few weeks ahead on DT cards)
It's one layer week at Less Is More and the theme is curves ... I went for a curve of flowers and curved edge of the card for a subtle approach

The stamps are from altenew (cannot link as I am still using phone for posts) and I stamped them using the Misti in pale ink first, added distress oxide inks over the approx areas using a dauber then put it back in the Misti and re stamped with onyx versa fine over the top ... really love the effect and the distress oxide inks are amazing on the coloured card base

I've got a 3 day work week this week so hopefully Easter weekend will mean I can get back into the studio and have some R&R

Happy Easter

Morning LIMettes

It's the first week of the month at Less Is More and we have a new sponsor with Lili Of The Valley and a colour challenge to use 3 pastels

I just had to use this mega seeet image how can you not love it!

I've not set foot in my craft room for pretty much 3 weeks now ... work has over taken my life due to some stuff that has happened which has meant long days and weekend working (I pretty have a policy I don't work weekend so that's how bad it actually is)
I'm hoping that this will ease off but for the next month it will be as bad !
