The Gunpowder Plot

Well it's Saturday Morning again and I've managed to get to my craft room early (courtesy of waiting for Mr British Gas) so I thought I'd get in early with this weeks Less Is More challenge.... RED & ORANGE!!! Now I did panic a little bit (actually a lot as I really don't like orange) but I managed to come up with this....

I'm not really happy with it and it hasn't photographed well either... but hey ho!!

Warm in the Winter

Can you believe it's November already? Anyhow it's time for another challenge at Crafting For All Seasons and this week we have two sponsors, The Paper Shelter and Meljen Designs.  The Theme this fortnight is "TEXTURE". Here is my paper shelter card....

I've added some texture in a few ways... Tearing the paper, Flower-soft on the bobble hat, Glitter on the snow, the seam binding ruffled.  I didn't want to use the traditional embossing folders even though I love them.

I'll be back to show the the Meljens one later.....
