Sympathy cards for me are the ones I just hate to have to make as a card maker. Especially when they are for someone so close to you. I had to make this one for a very special family.
Image is Pink Petticoat, I've then used a quickie glue pen at the end of each wisp and some clear embossing powder to give a little dimension. It fits in with this weeks LIM but it's sad to have to enter it . I'm not really going to say much more on this...

Beautiful card. Linda x
ReplyDeleteOh sorry to hear this Jen, it's one thing to make a sympathy card 'just because' but totally different when you need to send one. It's a beautiful card, I hope it brings a little comfort to the recipients.

Sympathy cards are very hard to make, but I'm sure this beautiful card will have brought comfort to the family to whom you sent it. Sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss - this card is lovely and should be well received by the family in question.

Apart for the reason for making it, this is a lovely card. I love the image and where you have placed the sentiment.

Jen, I agree it's really hard to make a sympathy card - especially when you "need" one. This one turned out really lovely!
