Morning... It's Monday so that means a little CAS card from Lili Of The Valley and today I have a wedding card in very scrumptious colours!! I've coloured it in with SU markers as water colours and I really love how vintage the colouring it looks!

Morning Bloggers... I'm back in the world of crafting and raring to go...  After struggling for time and mojo I found inspiration from Debby Hughes @ Lime Doodle with the embossing paste....
I have some paste from a few years ago and decided to have a go at the back ground technique... One night last week I had a play around but didn't really know what to do with it... After much deliberation I came up with the below as I as started putting the card together this morning the creative juices began to start running again....

New Blog Look!!!

Why the cats away....

Over the past couple of weeks off I haven't really had the time or inclination to craft.  I decided I needed to do something a little artistic and one evening decided to go about re-designing my blog...

I would love to know what you all think... I have tried to keep it clean and simple and really like it (but then I would say that lol!)

A Little Bit of Time Away...

Just wanted to pop by and say I'm taking a couple of weeks off from blogland... I've got some stuff I need to sort out and not only does that need my time but it is also effecting my mojo....

If I find I my mojo before then I may be back sooner but for the moment I just need to concentrate on me....

Happy Anniversary ... CAS Monday with LOTV

Hello... Sorry I've fallen out of habit of late... a lot going on at the moment and I'm not sure where my head and my heart are and it's had a massive impact on my mojo :-( Plus I've had to move my studio around to put in a wardrobe and everything is just on the wrong side of me. Can't wait to get it back to normal although I think that's going to be a few months away.

Autumn... When Every Leaf Is A Flower

Morning... I think my mojo is finally returning and I made at least 4 cards last night as well as doing some colouring techniques with Vicky!! After her asking what the blending tools were I knew exactly what I was going to do with them to show her.... Now I don't often get inky and messy but I really love how this turned out!!

I'm a little late posting today as I really could not decide on which sentiment to use for this card until my Stampin Up order from Lizy's Online Stampin Up Shop HERE was delivered straight to my door this morning... how fabulous is that!!!!  I quickly added the sentiment at lunch and here is the final card!!

Ski Run

My mojo seems to be returning slowly .. but how could it not with the super cuteness of the stamp on this card.... I always loved House Mouse but wanted the simple images so when I saw this cutie over at Joanna Sheen I was smitten !!

He is simply water coloured with Stampin Up Markers and finished off with a little twine, a button and my all time fave sentiment tags from LOTV.

I'm hoping to get some more crafting done tonight...

Speedy Recovery

Morning... Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I met some fab people on Saturday whilst at Lili Of The valley and finally got to meet Mary and Andrea from the Ribbon Girl in person... It was so lovely to actually get to talk to them both!

Other than a bit of colouring whilst there with Lou, I only managed about 30 minutes of crafting late last night to make a quick card for a very last minute order and I was impressed by how quickly it came together... I hoping my mojo is making a return after a well deserved break :-)

Anyhow, onto the card.... I used the RGB codes available for Stampin Up colours from here to do the lettering in illy and then simply added some stitching and a little washi for some detail.  I used some brads and cut off the back just for another little touch!

It's really nice to be back crafting... Although I have a really busy week so not sure how much will be done before the weekend!

Autumal Craze!

Morning LIMettes! it's the first week of the month it's time for a new colour challenge at Less Is More.  This month we have a very dramatic inspiration photo for you where the main colours are Dark Green and Rust.

Fab Flamingo!!

Ok... so the mojo hasn't come back yet but I found a photo from last month's Paper craft Inspirations tester project.  I normally don't post these but I absolutely love this card... and it's not very CAS at all!!!

I used seam binding from The Ribbon Girl to make the feathers.. and cocktail sticks covered in washi tape for the legs...

Back To School...

I'm a little late this evening and still no mojo but I thought I would make this little cutie into a card since it's back to school week.  She has been sat on my desk coloured in for a few days now so I think it was deserved!!
