Presents? For Me?

Morning... I thought I would share a LOTV card with you today that I made a couple of weeks ago and completely forgot to blog ... I am so not with it at the moment and hoping that my holiday in a coupe of weeks gets me back on track.  This gorgeous girl is "So Many Presents" and will be available next week ...

She is simply coloured in using my Stampin Write markers and  then mounted onto dotty paper... yes I know I am obsessed with it completely!!

I'm hoping to catch up with the world today at some point... Good thing about the bad weather is that I can hide in my craft studio all day !!

Double Take On Chistmas

Morning LImettes and Sketchers... Bit of a combo this morning as I really am on the last minute for everything this week... It's been one of those where I need longer days so I just have one card for you today combining Less Is More Recipe challenge of "String Or Twine" and this CAS sketch from Sketch Saturday!!
Here is my sketch this week...

And my little card!!

I've used some dotty card from Anna Marie for my card base... I love spotty card and then after using the curved edge die from Simon Says Stamp I have wrapped the crumb cake card stock with red twine from the ribbon girl.  It's finished off with a sentiment from LOTV and some cheery lynn holly leaves.

I'm hoping this week will be a lot less chaotic and I'll have some crafting time 

Sorry I've not been around much this week but Lizy is around later for some crafting!

Anniversary Heart Part 2

Morning... Another card using the fabulous IO die from last week... This was my first attempt at using the die but at the time decided I wasn't sure on the red and white. I finished it off anyhow as part of my Bits and Pieces work last week and I like it now it finished!! I think this die is going to get a lot of use!!

Abracadabra Take 2

Remember last weeks Less Is More card? Well this is the proof that I often mess up.. you just don't get to see it! I decided it would be a really good idea to put my finished card onto of an open ink pad after I had made it so this is the remake after discarding the back of the card... I love it!!!
Half of the time I don't do remakes, they just get photographed and then end up in the recycling, but I had spent so long colouring this little guy in that I thought he deserved another chance!

A Tree Or Two!

Morning LIMettes... It's Saturday again and hopefully we have an easier challenge for you this week.  Its theme week at Less Is More and we want to see Trees on your cards.

Here are my creation for this week...

My first card uses a fabulous Stampin Up stampin in hero arts shadow ink and simply stitched around the edges.  The sentiment is the from the same set.  The shadow inks blend into the paper you use to give a smooth ink effect.

My second card uses tiny trees from waltzing mouse stamps.  I used the same colour shadow inks for the tree but onto crumb cake card stock. The spotty paper is from anna marie designs.

A Very Merry Christmes... Sketch Saturday #281

Morning Skechers... Yes I know it's been along time but really needed time out from doing too much and this is where my mojo seemed to lack the most.  This is my sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this week and it's really nice to join in again!!

This card was created from bits and pieces from the pile and I just love how it turned out. Here is my card

Polar Dad!

Morning.. It's another card from the bit's and pieces pile and this time I have used one of my favourite Christmas Images from LOTV and the baja breeze card stock peeking out at the bottom!!

Here is the card.... How cute is the little polar bear :-)

I embossed the background with a Sizzix Snowflakes and then stitched around the edges.  As the card stock below the image was not long enough I attached a scrap piece of matching card with some washi tape and then finished it off with twine and a simple sentiment.

Anniversary Hearts!! Plus CAS(e) This Sketch #50 Guest Designer

Morning.... Very exciting news today .. I'm Guest Designer over at CAS(e) This Sketch this week for Chrissy Larson for the half century challenge!! It's a fabulous sketch too!!! Here it is!!

I've used a new die I bought on Saturday at Leigh for this little card I'll add the make later lol as I can't remember!!  It's just perfect for this sketch.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up

Update: The die is from Impression Obsession and is called Heart Of Hearts.  I bought it from Oyster Stamps at the show.

Using Up The Scraps...

Morning.. On Monday night I sorted out my desk and paper trays and found a load of coloured images, half made cards and bits and pieces so last night I was very resourceful and tried to only use stash from this pile....

I ended up making 6 cards!! Not done that in such a long time but the mojo was flowing!!Here is the first one!! And there will be more to follow in the next few days!!
