Learning to Fly...( well crochet actually!)

Morning.. So I do have something a little different for you today... my attempts at crochet flowers.  A few weeks ago when at Rachel's she showed me the basics of a couple of crochet stitches and after 4 or 5 squares of stitch on stitch when I went on Sunday we decided to try a little project instead.... I had seen these flowers on Pinterest and away we went! Here are my attempts so far.. the pale pink is the one from Sunday, the other 3 from last night!

I've found that other crafts apart from card making are helping my mojo... It's hard to see boxes and boxes of card just mount up with no where to go... I think I need a bit more practice and then I can make some lovely little brooches with these....

I'm planning on adding more crafty non card making projects on here so would love to know what you all think!

Hope you have a great Tuesday...

  4. Hi Jen, I would go mad if I just made cards! I love lots of other crafts. I even taught basket weaving for a while!! Sad! Love these little flowers. I learnt from my Mum how to knit and crochet as a child. I used to make all my dolls clothes. Very relaxing. Hugs, Carol S.xx
