Washi With Thanks

Morning LIMettes .... blogger is really not playing nice for me this week, I have had numerous issues logging into my account again so having to type this on my phone is not ideal

We have a new challenge at Less Is More this week and it's to use Washi tape on your card. If you are anything like me you have about 100 rolls just there to look pretty and never really be used!
I decided to try something a little different this week ... here is my card

I used four different washi tapes (3 from SU) and ripped tiny pieces and layered them straight into my card base. It's finished off with a sentiment from MFT cut out of teal card stock to match one of the washi tapes.

Unfortunately I'm having to work through this weekend .. acrelly busy time at work means there are not enough hours in the week

Hope you all have a fabulous Saturday

  1. What a cool way to use your washi, Jen! The colours and patterns look great against the black card base and the die cut sentiment tones in perfectly. I hope you don't work too hard this weekend x

  2. Superb inspiration Jen. Great colour choice, love this 'messy' CAS style and a fantastic use of washi. Have a good week

  3. Love the whimsical nature of this card. Just fun!

  4. Great idea this has made a fab card Love and hugs Carole x

  5. This is so clever Jen, such a fab look with the "shattered" effect of the washi tape! Very modern and stylish! Hope you're having a good weekend x

  6. What a fab creation! Love this avant garde use of washi! Fab card hun. My parcel arrived today Jen, thank you so much! It's all fab. Hugs, Wends xoxo

  7. Super card Jen. You have managed to get the illusion of so much texture in your choice of gorgeous Washi tape. xx

  8. You did good job here, loved the design and your work. Why don't you consult some technical guy if you are facing so much challenges logging in the blog?
