Opposite Sides Of The Wheel

Morning LIMettes... I'm really not sure where this week has gone at all... But It's Saturday which means another challenge at Less Is More and this week we have a colour challenge for you.  This month we would like you to choose TWO opposite colours from this colour wheel...

Here are my card for this week....

My first card uses the colours Yellow-Green and Violet-Red and I have kept it very simple with a bright card base and a simple sentiment from Penny Black (Friendship T for Transparent).  The Butterfly is from Memory Box and the papers Stampin Up

Inspiration: Case This Sketch: #26

My second card uses Violet and Yellow and some fabulous polka washi tape... The die is also from Memory Box and the sentiment from Stampin Up.  I've added some stitching with my machine too.

Inspiration: Fusion #5

I'm off to Lili Of The Valley today so if anyone is going this afternoon be on the look out for me!!!

  19. These are both gorgeous, Jen! I'm always afraid red & green will look Christmasy but the hues you used here are gorgeous and rich and not Christmasy at all! And that delicate butterfly is lovely. Thanks for playing along with CAS(E) This Sketch this week!

I love the stitching on the second card and that really subtle shade of lilac. A lovely sympathy card!
