One last card for today, this is my entry into the Less is More Challenge, which this week is "Pastels". I've put together a simple birthday card for a colleague, and thought it fit in well with this week. Here is the card.
I've used a slightly sparkly card blank from craft creations, The papers are Pink Petticoat (Are you getting bored of me saying this yet :-) ?), I actually purchased this one today out of the retiring section, the spots are from the "Sweet Sundaes Collection". I used a simple printed sentiment and cut this out with nesties and added a pink pearl from Hobby House, and then used a slightly brighter pink ribbon ( Dovecraft) as an accent.
Hope you like it... that's definitely all from me today

Hi Jen
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question, yes I do like it. Whilst there isn't any of our required 'white' space your design is very clean and simple
Thank you for joining us

This is pretty and it does have clean lines.
ReplyDelete(I've been naughty too and don't have much white space on my card).

What a great card! I do think you have plenty of white space in between all those polka dots!!!! Love the circles you used for the sentiment that echo the dots in your white space!
ReplyDeleteLol. You made me smile with your comment on my blog Jen. Ain't it great that we can take a constructive telling off ;o) Think I'll be joining you in a 'take 2' - seem to have got away with it on the first one, but in my heart I know it's not CAS. See ya later with new cards, eh?

Smashing card though, white space or not!

Gorgeous card- I love the bolder ribbon accent, really makes the card I think!! :)
ReplyDeleteHas got me wondering if there's enough white space on one of my cards this week- LIM is changing the way I think about CAS and keep ending up a tad befuddled!!lol- but I think clean lines and not too many/too strong colours are an important part which we've both managed!! :) Shall stop waffling and go keep my confused thoughts to myself now!! ;)
