Humphrey's Birthday Wishes

Morning... A really simple card for you today using this cute Humphrey stamp ( from the Shopping My Stash box of course!) I seem to be low on children's birthday cards in the box so I thought this would be a good image to use....

I used a sentient from Clearly Besotted and also one of Stephanie's new basics dies the middle scallop (this was also in the box :-)

Last night I also made a few more new home cards as yesterday's card sold straight away.... I used the same set just swapped out the layouts and sentiments :-).  Here is a peek of them...

Chevron Birthday!

I really feel like my mojo is back on it's way in and even though I'm still struggling to spend hours looking through everyone's blogs... I have managed some crafting.... Here is another little card I made using the January Clearly Besotted Release....

Last year I bought some Hero Arts Shadow inks and hadn't really used them very much as the colours were darker than I had expected so I thought since they were similar to the challenge colours for Clearly Besotted this month that I would actually give them another go... I'm pretty happy with the results....

21 Today!! Plus last day to enter Candy!!!

Morning...  Just posting a quick reminder on my January Candy and thought I would show you a little card I made for a commission whilst I was at it!!

I also wanted to thank you for all your kind comments and emails this last week... It was difficult to share what is going on in my life but I wanted you all to know why I may not be around much.  I tried a little crafting last night but still struggling...

I will be back tomorrow with a special card for a special day at Less Is More....

Something A Little Different!

I have something a little different for you today, If you have got your copy of the new Papercraft Inspirations you will see some project using these fabulous papers.  I have used a Freestyle Collage technique for this card and I really love it!

I'm looking forward to catching up on some crafting this weekend and getting ahead ... Hope you have a great Friday

Vintage Birthday!

I'm a little bit late today as I had to use Al's laptop to sort out my images etc etc and write the post but It's a long weekend for me starting with a lie in and fixing my lappy :-(  Today's card is a quick one I made for a commission.  A style very different to my normal style but I love it!!

I have used the fabulous Beach Bliss Paper from Lili Of The Valley and then added tone on tone elements to build up the collage look.  The 17 was cut out of a piece of card that had been heat embossed with pewter EP and I love the metal look it gives.  As it's a winter birthday It's finished off with a poppy stamps snowflake.

But Then I Forgot.... Sieze The Sketch #10

Morning... Wow where has the last two weeks gone ... It's time for another challenge at Seize The Sketch and this week it's Cathy's turn to design the sketch.  Here it is...

I've kept my card really simple and I do apologise for the dark photo... computer has fallen ill again and I can't get into photo shop so I just can't seem to get them right :-(

I cut little flags from card stock and the embossed the panel with an SU embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the remembering your birthday set.

I hope you can join in for the last challenge before the new year... Fingers crossed I'll see you later in the week ....

Space Invaders

Morning... I've finally ventured out of the house today after 2 days of really bad hay fever mean't I have worked from home.  It's still bad but seems to have calmed down somewhat from Sunday night and Monday.  Anyhow onto today's card... This little card I made on Saturday and was delighted to find out the challenge had been extended so I didn't have to rush posting it!
