You Make Me Happy

Morning.. It was so nice to have an extra hour in bed this morning but I feel Like I should have used the extra hour for something useful instead... I made a really quick card for you today using these cute foxes from Pink Petticoat

The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps... I love how crisp it stamps!

I was supposed to be using the sketch from CASe this sketch but it didn't turn out that way... I'll give it another go this afternoon after I have met my friend for a very overdue catch up over lunch!

Hope you have a great Sunday

New Home....

Morning... Sorry this was suppose to post yesterday but I was having problems uploading to blogger .. don't you hate it when that happens...  Anyhow, now I have finally sorted out the printer I use to do digis I went digging through the digital stash and found this cute Pink Petticoat image release earlier in the year..

It's been a while since I last used a Pink Petticoat image or paper and I forgot how much I love them!

I simply coloured the little caravan in and fussy cut it out and put it over the original image with the sentiment.  Quickly coloured in with Copics and it's done!

The DP is from the huge MME stash.. I don't think it will ever go down!

Don't forget to check out my for sale page too....

I'll be back tomorrow

Bobbing Along

Morning... Not sure what's going on with blogger but it completely lost this post so here I go again!!

This weeks Less Is More is to make a Christmas Card that features a bird.  Can't wait to see what you all come up with

Life is slowly getting back to normal although I think my laptop has gone to heaven and taken every thing with it.. we are currently trying to recover absolutely everything from it :-( fingers crossed it will work.

For my cards today I have used the many of the same ingredients to make both cards. The images are the fabulous Bobby Along images from this months sponsor Pink Petticoat!

For the first card I cute out the aperture using rounded rectangle spell binders and the placed this over the image I have coloured in with promarkers and copics. It's finished off with a little glitter and some lucky limeade twine from Stampin Up.

As I have turned into a frugal crafter, I decided to use the negative from the aperture from my first card for the second.  The image is also coloured in with markers and then simply mounted onto the off cut.

That's all from me for today!

A Burst Of Colour!

Morning LIMettes... I'm not really sure where the month of October disappeared to be honest and this week has just flown by... But as it's the first week of the month at Less Is More it means it's colour week and we have something a little bit different for you this week!  We want to see how the photo below inspires you and see a dark card base with splashes of colour!

Here are my cards...

My first card uses the photo not only for colour inspiration but for the design too.  I simply used a black card base and added a heart of colourful buttons from brights collection at stampin up

My second card uses embossing paste and a stencil and then bright blue glitter.  I have simply added some pearls and a sentiment from pink petticoat.

Have a great weekend!!

Mr Moustache

Morning... I have a very quick card for you today using the fabulous moustache images from Pink Petticoat.... I really love these and you may see them appear a few more times before Father's Day.  I really love the simple cards that you can quickly make, esp when you don't have much time to craft... 12 hour work days don't leave much time for it!

Card Recipe:
Image: Pink Petticoat
Black Glass Glitter
Twine: East Of India

I'm hopefully going to get some crafting done this weekend... I'll probably be going to Lili Of The Valley tomorrow afternoon if any of you are visiting the shop in Leeds...

See you all tomorrow...

Simply Sketchy ...

Morning LIMettes... So this week at Less Is More we have a little sketch for you that I have drawn up.  Here it is...

It's simplicity itself, so to add a little constraint, we ask that the card stays in this orientation.  Remember we still want to see plenty of white space.

Here are my simple creations for this week....

For my first card I have used my first ever embossing folder from Cuttle-bug along with a strip of ribbon and a button from Stampin UP.  Keeping it really simple.  I have also distressed the edges of the panel.

My second card uses my newest bit of stash, the  Mr Moustache collection from Pink Petticoat... I simply added the sentiment across the middle and cut out another moustache and raised it a little.  The fabulous matching papers decorate the inside.

Sorry I have not been around for last couple of days, not been feeling too good and working too hard isn't helping.  I promise I'll catch up on last weeks commenting :-(

Hope you have a great weekend
