Kitty Presents

Hey Y'all.. I'm back today with a little simple card using Penny Black stamps.

I have so many of the cute Margaret Sherry images that I thought I better start making some cards using them! I think that even if I didn't buy another stamp I could use a different image daily for about 5 years .... better start shopping my stash for a while.. or crafting some more!

I stamped the kitty image from Happy Times set and then coloured her in with Copics.  I added a little bit of wink of stella to the presents and then added some pen drawn faux stitching around the card panel.  The sentiment is from Tiny Type from Clearly besotted.  This is definitely one of the best simple sentiment sets that you must own!
Finally I mounted it onto a black card base and added an insert.

Lets Be Merry

Another PB for you today.. they have always been a favourite but i think this Owl is an all time!

I did a little ink blending in the back ground with distress oxides and cut out the peekaboo window from MTF.  The owl is fussy cut and a small sentiment added

Love this card...  Hope you are all getting into the festive swing of things

Morning.. I have another PB card for you today!.. These are still last years stamps .. maybe I will get around to using this years next year!!

I added a bit of bling using some glitter paper and the sentiment is from Penny Black again!

The Puppy and the Robin

Morning... More Penny Black for you today... this time a set from last year that I never quite got around to using. 

I did some ink squishing with distress inks in the back ground and added some chunky embossing powder for some snow!
the little doggy and bird are coloured in with Copics

I'm hoping that all went well yesterday and i can start my recovery!

Morning... Sorry it's been a while, I have been crafting in the back ground but not seemed to have time to photo and edit the pics.

I have a life time crafting obsession with Penny Black so when I saw this cute stamp I had to get it! 

I'll hopefully be posting a bit more now... I'll will be back tomorrow with my card for LOTVs monthly challenge... its a great one this month!

Sending You Smiles

Morning, I ordered a couple of new Penny Black sets (I looovvveee them) so decided to make a mega quick card last night using the CAS(e) this Sketch again!  This time I flipped it!

The back ground is done using distress oxides on a block spritzed with water.. I really love the effect and made a few back grounds whilst practising! The fussy cut image is coloured with copics and placed over the top.

Best Dad Ever

Morning.. I wish this rain would go away... I was just getting used to going for daily walks and runs and this has put a dampener on everything!

I have a quick Penny Black card for you again today... It's from the same set as the fishing stamp from earlier in the week .. perfect for those men in your life!

I have so much to do before the Farmers Market on Sunday the next couple of days will be completely manic... pricing and packaging for all my hand stamped metal items and jewellery and still more cards to make... good job I'm not in work lol! Better get a move on anyhow....

Dad's Gone Fishing!

Morning... I've got a quick card for you today perfect for any fishing loving Dad.. I've used a super cute Penny Black image... It's been ages since any of these have seen any ink... but then when you have so much stash how can you use it all!!  I think I'm on another stash ban and continuing the Shop My Stash challenge for another couple of months, at least until I get back into the swing of card making again!

I love simple cards with just the image on and they seem perfect for more masculine cards!

That's it from me today.. so much to do and the days are disappearing in front of me!!

12 Days Of Christmas

Morning LIMettes.. Today it's everyone's favourite week... One Layer Cards at Less Is More and this week for those last minute Christmas cards we have chosen a theme of
12 Days Of Christmas

I decided to make a set of cards using the fabulous Penny Black 12 days set.  Here are a few of them..

They are simply embossed with Black Embossing powder onto crumb cake card stock and then coloured in with prisma pencils.

I used my corner chompers on a couple or decorated the edges with a little paper piercing. Hopefully I'll get the rest of them completed :-)

Have a great Saturday... I'm still computer less at the moment but a new hard drive has been fitted now I just need to put everything back where it goes.

Just one card from me today using my favourite little penny black creatures the little hedgie.  I've stamped him onto watercolour card stock and then used my Stampin Write markers to watercolour him in.  He is simply finished with some stitching and a sentiment from LOTV.

Tuning Up For A Great Day...

Wow this week has gone fast... It's day 5 over at Penny Black and I have this super cute number for you today Slapsticks 40-225 Tune Up... this has to be my favourite card of the week.  I really love colouring in with distress inks for penny black images it just works so well.

This one has been kept really simple and I have simply added some faux stitching around the panel!

It's Been Too Long...

It's day 4 of my guest week over at Penny Black and I've use this super cute image from a T for Transparent set... How cute!!

Coloured with distress inks and simply finished off with some spotty paper and a little ribbon both from Stampin Up.

Here Comes LIfe....

Morning.. So it's day 3 of my stint as guest designer at Penny Black and today's card is sentiment based...

I have kept it really simple using  Slapstick/Cling set, 40-237 Life’s Messages.  I have simply finished it off with some ribbon from Stampin Up.

I'm off to Robbie tonigth at Etihad and then up at 4am tomorrow to start off my birthday trip to Istanbul... A little nervous about that!

Pretty Botanicals.. Day 2 at Penny Black

Morning.. So it's day 2 of my guest week at Penny Black and today I have a really simple card using , 40-198 Every Happiness I really love this simple floral slapstick set!!

It's simply finished off with some twine after embossing the panel in Off white embossing powder.

A busy day today and then to pack for my forthcoming trip to Istanbul eeeekkkkk I am a little bit nervous about going but unless they stop us travelling there is nothing the travel agent will do :-(

Celebrate Your Day!

Morning.. A really quick card for you today ... My first using my distress markers for colouring anything in.. I don't think I did too bad for a first attempt (I've had the markers for 8 months and never used them.. naughty!!).  I'm using a super cute image from Penny Blacks latest releases...
