Morning LIMettes... yes another week has flown by and as it's a new month we have a fabulous new sponsor.. the wonderful Sally from Craft Mojo.

I was lucky enough to meet Sally a few weeks ago at a show and she is so fabulous!!

Now onto this weeks challenge which is use the colours from your bedroom... mine is boring neutrals so I went with the colours from my bed linen instead...

The die is from paper smooches which I picked up from Craft Mojo at the show... I love the simplicity!

Hope you have a great Saturday.. I'm off to the hairdressers now and then final prep for tomorrow Farmers Market!

Spots & Stripes

Morning LIMettes... not sure where this week went but as you read this I'm at the Airport waiting to board a plane to Paris for the week.. I'm taking a well deserved break from work and from blogging... no scheduled posts (other than this one!!).  I'm sorry I won't be able to visit you all this week.

This week is everyone's favorite at Less Is More.. One Layer Cards and we want to see

Spots and Stripes

Here are my cards for this week....

So I did use papers... digi papers that is... they are perfect for the one layer card is you manipulate them a little in word or print over part of a card.  The first card is stripes from Pink Petticoat printed as a rectangle on A4 then cut down the middle to give the tent card.  I then stamped the spots from Paper Smooches gently over the top.  The sentiment is Kirsty Wiseman and I've doodled round the edges

For the second card I cropped pink petticoat paper again over A4 using word and then printed the same sheet with the sentiment.  It's finished off with stripes of black twine from the ribbon girl and a embosslit butterfly from Stampin UP

In A Row... OLC at Less Is More #97

Morning LIMettes... so can you believe it's another challenge over at Less Is More and this week it's everyone's favourite... One Layer Card week.  The theme for the challenge is:

In A Row

So when I saw this theme I had to check the meaning....
row ¹ n.

1. A series of objects placed next to each other, usually in a straight line.

2. A succession without a break or gap in time: won the title for three years in a row.

3. A line of adjacent seats, as in a theatre, auditorium, or classroom.

4. A continuous line of buildings along a street.

The first thing that came to mind was the phrase " Getting your ducks in a row" so this is how I interpreted it in my first card....

My Second card I decided to just put some items in a row... and couldn't wait to use my new paper smooches set from My Mums Craft shop. This card was inspired by my blogging friend Faye with this card and the reason I bought the stamps...
