Fancy a Cupcake?
Thought I'd do a little card tonight with main inspiration coming from Cupcake craft challenges " Cooking Up a Storm". I wanted to do a "Pretty & Distressed" look... Hope I mastered it...
To distress the paper I used a Acrylic Nail sanding block ( love these as they are so easy to hold and really cheap) once I had torn the edges. it works wonders especially on printed paper.
Hope you like it

Cat in a Box
Well I'm back after spending more money than planned at Stamp Magic in Doncaster and I just thought I would throw together this little card as it's my friend's birthday at the end of the week and she just loves cats....
It's was really easy to make in that I simply stamped the image straight onto the Kraft card blank and then coloured in the paw prints lol.... I think it's pretty perfect for this weeks Less Is More Challenge "In the FRAME".
Hope you all had a fantastic Weekend. I've now got some wedding invites to design for the Sis in Law ( Hmmm volunteered myself for that one didn't I lol)

Which One Shall I Open First?
It's a beautiful day outside, but my hay fever has kicked in and it's far more fun to be in the craft room.... I've used a Little Claire stamp for this card which I picked up at Harrogate.... The challenge this week is "Animals" so I thought this was perfect! I picked up another Top 3 there on challenge 4 but I thinks it's only because I keep using their images.... Maybe it's good brownie points for when they finally do a DT call LOL.... Anyhow enough waffling, here is the card....
The stamp is an image called "Doggie Parcels" from Little Claire and I've coloured using my trusty promarkers (ice grey 1,2,5, buttercup, mustard, meadow, apple, cool aqua, duck egg, colbalt, china blue, cardinal red, ruby). Papers are from Pink Petticoats Big Fella collections and lots of dots. It's finished off with a little glossy accents and a simple sentiment from PC ( Font- A little Pot).
I'm entering this into the following challenges...
Little Claire - Animals
CES - Sketch
Simon Says - For a Child
A spoonful of Sugar - All Creatures great and small
Hope you like it....

Birdhouse & Top 3 @ Little Claires ( Again!!)
If you would have asked me a few weeks ago when I started blogging if I would win even one Top 3 I would have laughed, but now I'm on my 3rd of the week and each one has been a surprise, none more that this as I won it in the last challenge too... I'm finishing off the week with my entry into Little Claire's Challenge 4 - Spring....Here is my card
I've kept this one very simple using one of the Digi images from Little Claire's, Birdhouse. I Printed off twice and then used a decoupage effect for the birdhouse, birds and flowers to give it some dimension. The image is coloured in with promarkers (tan, cinnamon, cocoa, blossom, pink carnation, poppy, lavender, lilac, pear, moss, buttercup, mustard, pastel blue, denim) and finished off with some pink 23mm ribbon and a simple sentiment from a fizzy moon set.
I hope you like it....

Camper Van & Little Claire Top 3
After spending the weekend at GNPE in Harrogate I was a little behind in checking out the challenges over the weekend, so you can imagine my surprise when I found out I was in the Top 3 for Little Claire's Challenge #2, especially since I had been on the stall back to back with Steve and Gill on Saturday lol. Cupcake Tree is one of my favourite cards... I'm so happy to be chosen.
Anyhow, onto this weeks Little Claire Challenge #3 which is Pink & Green. I really couldn't decide which stamp to use, one of the news Room with a View I'd picked up or one I had. In the end I chose the Daisy Camper Van. My card is very simple with paper pieced pink spotty paper from Pink Petticoat used for the main body of the image. I've coloured the rest in with promarkers. It's finished off with some green ribbon, some white card candy and a few gems to add a bit of bling from Hobby House. Here is the card...
I'm sorry about the colours on the photo, tt really is a pink, promise....Anyhow, I'm off to cook some dinner now, I'll be back later...

Two Owls (Little Claire)
Just a little card for today. I decided to use a Little Claire digi image, 2 Owls, for today's card. I am going to enter this into Little Claire's first ever challenge, Anything Goes. Here is my card for today....
I've coloured in the image with promarkers ( Cocoa, Caramel, Sandstone, Tan, Cinnamon, Vanilla, Pear Green, Marsh Green, Tulip Yellow, Blossom and Rose Pink), then cut out the image with a fine white border, used glossy accents on the eyes and placed a black pearl from The Hobby House onto each one. and mounted it onto Nitwit collection papers ( In the Meadow), these were the free ones with Simply Cards and Papercraft earlier this year. I've printed off a sentiment using my PC (font is "A Little Pot"), and distressed the edges with distress ink in Antique Linen. I've just finished it off with seam binding in Oloroso from Ribbon Girl.
That's all from me today, hope you like the card
