Hello Penguin

Morning.... Thought I would share a quick card with you this morning using the Festive Folk set from Lili Of The Valley.

This one is a rubber set but in case you want any digi images you only have until tomorrow to pick them up before they are no longer available!

The image was stamped onto Neenah Solar white card stock and coloured in with Copic markers. I then fussy cut around the cute penguin extending the base out to give some snow.

I splattered Copic Opaque White onto a scrap of dark blue card stock and then trimmed each into a panel using avery elle pierced rectangle. A quick hello sentiment from CBS and then mounted onto a card base made from Neenah 110lb card stock.

I am off to watch OVO Cirque du Soleil this afternoon with my Mum then hopefully I will make it to the Ice hockey tonight.

Hope you all have a great Saturday

One Year Older

Good Morning.. sorry its been a while, I was locked out of google for 3-4 weeks along with some heavy work travel to Germany over August.  In the back ground I have still been crafting so I thought I would share a little card with you!

I picked up some quirky MFT birthday sentiments back in may and it was perfect for a friend who has 'Stopped Counting' birthdays

The flowers from Honeybee Zen flowers are coloured in with distress oxides and the panel cut out using Avery Elle pierced rectangle.

Its then mounted onto a simple black card base. Taks me back to CAS routes...

Hope you have a great Friday... I'll be back soon

Christmas In July

Morning... First Christmas card of the year made from a panel I actually coloured in last year but never managed to do anything with.
I'm not normally this early but I'm still trying to empty the box of bits and pieces and this was in it so I thought I might as well make it into a card at least.

I created a panel using the poinsettia stamp from the retired Stampin Up Set Joyful Christmas. I stamped it multiple times and then coloured it in with distress oxides .  I added the sentiment from the set and then splatted the page with gold paint.
Its finished off with some gold german glass glitter and then mounted on a kraft card base.

That's all from me today

Season's Greetings

Hey Y'all, hope you have had a great week.  Only a couple more cards to share as inspiration for Mondays Hochanda release.  Again this is from Christmas Friends set and this was my favourite card! It's available HERE

I coloured the reindeer in with copic markers before carefully fussy cutting out the image leaving a small white border.
I cut out a panel with the pierced rectangle die from avery elle and then embossed this with the softy falling EF from Stampin U|p.  Its finished off with a sentiment on black card from a retired Stampin Up set.
I then added the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist card base.

That's all from me for today... hope you all have a lovely Friday!

Merry Christmas

Good Morning.... I have some more inspiration from this weeks Hochanda LOTV sets from Monday.  This has to be one of my favourite examples I made. It uses an image from the Christmas Friends set which you can find HERE

I coloured the image in with copics and added some glossy accents to the nose and baubles before mounting it behind a stitched circle aperture made from Neenah Desert storm card stock.
I stamped the sentiment from Clearly Besotted stamps onto black card stock and then heat embossed it with WOW ultra white embossing powder.
I added some glitter to the Santa and then placed the sentiment on foam tape over the circle.

I have a few more to share with you over the next couple of days then no more christmas cards for a while!

have a great Thursday

Winter Wishes

Morning.... I have another one of the Hochanda samples to share with you today... this is from the Festive Folk set and you can find it on the website HERE

I just love these cute owls and the Scandinavian styling. I went for purples and blues for my colour theme!

I coloured in the image on neenah card stock with copic markers and added a little glitter pen to the hearts and bobbles on the hats.  I trimmed down the panel so the branch was hanging over the edge before mounting it onto a card based made of Rich Razzleberry card stock from Stampin Up.
I added a sentiment from an old LOTV set onto a strip of the same coloured card with white embossing powder and finished it off with some sequin strip down the edge.

I have a few more example to show you this week so I will see you tomorrow....

Deck The Halls

Morning, so I hope you enjoyed yesterdays Hochanda shows... I have some more inspiration from the cards shared on the show yesterday....

This one is from Christmas Friends and it's currently still available to purchase from HERE

For this image I coloured it in with copic markers before using a pierced rectangle die from Avery Elle to edge the panel. I added lots of distress glitter to the star and some sparkle and white gel pen to the bauble.
I mounted the panel onto neenah dessert storm card stock before finishing it off with a simple sentiment from a retired Stampin Up set.

That's all from me for today.. I will have some more LOTV samples to share with you for the rest of the week as ideas of what to do with your stamps when they arrive...

Have a lovely Tuesday

Say Cheese!

Morning... Sorry I have not posted for a few days... I had a nightmare after a PC update on Sunday and then have been in Germany this week so only managed to edit any photos last night!

I missed international Selfie day yesterday but this was the card I had made for it!

I picked up this 'Photo booth' from Your Next Stamp from Dies to Dies for when I went to Happy Stampers as I absolutely loved the cute dog and cat images.
I coloured in the image with Copics before mounting it behind a panel cut out using the MFT window die.  I then added a sentiment using Stampin Ups Labeller Alpha set
Its finished off by mounting onto a Black card base.

That's all from me for today... have a wonderful Friday.. The weather is glorious today

Birthday Fishes

Happy Sunday .... It's Fathers Day in the UK today but I cannot share that card until later in the week so I thought I would make a card for this weeks CAS(e) This Sketch.

I smooshed some Broken China Distress Oxide onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb card stock and let it dry.
Whilst drying I stamped and coloured the little fishes from the MFT Gill Friends set using my copics.  I then fussy cut these out and added details to some of them with a white gel pen, nuvo drops or wink of stella.
Once the panel was dry, I stamped the Birthday Fishes sentiment out of the set using Versa CLAIR black ink and then arrange the fish over the panel, lifting some with foam tape.

Party Animal

Morning Y'all, sorry missed a couple of days, I have had cards made but simply didn't have time to get them edited last weekend in full and then the posts written up...

For today's card I'm using one of the MFT stamps from last months release... Safari Party I couldn't resist these little crocs.

I started by drawing a pencil line across a piece of Neenah Solar white card stock before using my MISTI to stamp the croc multiple times across the piece.
I then coloured the images in using Copic Markers before adding the sentiment from the same set.

I added some texture to the crocs using a white gel pen and adding dots and then a doodle line from the sentiment out to the edge of the panel.

It's finished off by mounting onto a black top folding card blank.

I just about made it home from Frankfurt last night as my original flight home was cancelled but it was a very late one so I plan on spending the day R&R and in the craft studio making cards.

Hope you have a lovely Saturday

This is Your ...... Birthday Card

Morning... I have another card using a different stamp from the Birthday Wit Stampin Up set I used last week.  I absolutely love this card and the sentiment and have a couple of friends this would be perfect for... you know who you are!

I used the same method as the last card by using the MISTI and masking off each section with a post it note.  The only difference this time is I used Stampin Up markers instead of ink pads and I think it gives it a little bit of texture to the stamping.
I added some simple doodles around the edge and mounted the panel onto a card blank made from neenah desert storm card stock.

I'll be back soon with another card to share with you

Have a great day

Sending You Birthday Wishes

Morning.  Today I have used the Elephant Birthday set from Mama Makes again for another fun birthday card.

I stamped out the image onto neenah solar white card stock and then added the party hat from the set.  I didn't bother masking anything off as you could not tell once it was coloured in with copics.

The sentiment is from the same set and used the MISTI to make sure I got it straight.  The panel was then trimmed down so I could add some colour down each side.  For this I used some DSP from doodlebug and some glitter card stock from Stampin Up, cut into really thin strips.

The card is finished off with a little sparkle added to the hat.

I'm hopefully back on track with crafting and blogging now I have stopped travelling as much, although I am making cards for the week either over the weekend or a night in the week rather than every day now which is a lot easier to manage.

Have a lovely Thursday

Monster Wishes

Happy Tuesday... hope you are all having a fabulous week so far.  I managed a little crafting over the weekend and this card for CAS(e) This Sketch uses the new stamp I bought on Saturday...

I stamped monster image from the Aall & Create set #13 onto a piece of neenah 80lb card stock and then using a circle die and a pencil drew a light circle where I wanted to partially die cut the area out.
I then fussy cut around the top of the image cutting down a litter further down the side to allow the die to slip in the gap. I used a stitched circle die from Simon Says Stamp to cut out a circle in the card panel lifting the fussy cut section over the die so it didn't cut the area over the image.

I coloured the image in with copic markers and then trimmed down the panel with a craft knife, being careful to avoid the foot which I also fussy cut around.

The panel is mounted onto some very old DSP from Stampin Up and and a simple sentiment from Clearly Besotted is added onto Lemon Line Twist Stampin Up card stock.

I used this CAS(e) This Sketch #275 as inspiration for the card

That's all from me for today... have a great Tuesday

New Baby

Happy Monday Y'all.  I have a LOTV card to share with you all today using Scruffy Edward from the release back in April.  I absolutely loved this little elephant and wanted to make another little card using a second image I had already coloured in.

After printing off the digi image I coloured it in using copics and then fussy cut out the elephant and the balloon.
I created a panel scene using some soft sky and pear pizzazz card stock from Stampin Up  and added some memory box clouds.  I added a sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps and then mounted the images on foam tape.  I ran some string behind the hand of the elephant before securing it down on the card.  I then added the end behind the balloon and added a small bow.

I really love creating scenes with a mix of images and dies... even if they all tend to look the same :-)

I'll be back later in the week.. have a lovely Monday

Written In The Stars

Morning... I have one more card for you made from the Birthday Wit set from Stampin Up. I had stamped this out when I made the others but had done nothing with it.

The sentiment was stamped in black ink and then I coloured it in with copics in bright colours. I trimmed down the panel before adding some wooden star embellishments and a doodling around the edge.
The panel was then mounted onto a card base made from Bermuda Bay card stock from Stampin Up.  I finished it off by adding a little wink of stella onto the wooden stars.

Yesterday I went to the craft show in Bolton and then spent the rest of the day crafting my little heart out with stuff to show you over the next couple of weeks.

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday

Deco Duo

Morning.  My card today uses a technique new to me - stamping with Deco Foil Transfer gel

I firstly created a panel on Neenah solar white using the gel and the kaleidoscope leaves background stamp from Simon Says Stamp.  Make sure you wash off the stamp as soon as you have finished.

Once the panel had dried I ran it through the mini Minc once it has dried with rose gold foil. I def need more practice but it gave a lovely aged effect.

I then used the panel to create the two cards below:

For the first card I cut a 1 inch wide strip of the foiled panel and lay it horizontally across a top folding black card base. Its then finished off with a sentiment from the Mama Elephant Occasional Labels set which I stamped in black ink and then fussy cut around before mounting on foam and adding to the card.

For the second card I added strips of the panel and black card stock to a white top folding card base and the cut out the With Sympathy die sentiment from Simon Says Stamp and then add it over the top of the foiled pieces.

I think I will definitely be trying this technique again soon ...

Hope you all have a great Friday... I'm off to the family wedding of the year today so I will catch you all again soon

Nothing Says Happy Birthday Like....

Morning... I have a couple of cards using the now retired  Birthday Wit Stamp set from Stampin Up. I really loved the quirky sentiments in this set.

I made some really simple bright cards with one of the sentiments adding some simple doodles around the edges to finish it off.

I stamped the image using the MISTI, first masking off the Happy Birthday part to allow me to do it in a different colour.  I then masked of the part I had just stamped allowing me to add the different colour to the section of the stamp.

The card is finished off with a grey shadow around the image using a copic and some fancy doodles around the edge before being mounted on a card blank made of tempting turquoise card stock from Stampin Up.

The second one using lime green instead of blue and a change in the doodle around the edge of the card. I used Lucky Limeade Card stock from Stampin Up (I so wish they would bring it back as i'm hoarding it) as it matched the Altenew ink the closest.

I really enjoy making quick fun cards like this and they are perfect for last minute makes.

Hope you have a fab Wednesday!

Congratulations

Happy Monday!  So after 3 years of crazy travel I start my new role today.  Looking forward to a more consistent lifestyle, and, even though there will still be travel involved it will be days rather than weeks in a month.  More time for crafting!!

Today I have a couple of cards for you using one of the New Beginning digi release from LOTV.  The great thing about this image is that it can be used for anything.  I created two cards using the image sowing how you can resize it to fit your card base.

I colouring in both of the images the same, the only difference being the size as I wanted to create a landscape and a portrait card. The image is coloured in with copic markers and a little bit of sparkle added to the banner.
I trimmed both of the panels so they fit the respective card blanks with the image meeting the sides.

The first card is mounted onto a neenah desert storm card blank.

The second card I used the Straight Edge Die set from Whimsy to add some detail to the panel and then added to a  card blank made with Marina Mist card stock from Stampin Up (Retired).

That's all from me today... See you all again soon!

Just Married

Morning... June really is wedding season and I have a couple to attend over the next few weeks so I thought I would share this little card I made for a friend who eloped a few weeks ago..

I kept this card really simple using the Wonderful Life set from Stampin Up. I stamped the image using my MISTI then added the additions to it... the cans and the number plate.
I stamped the Just Married onto a scrap of card stock and then fussy cut it out and added it onto the image using foam tape. I coloured it in using some pale grey copic markers as it looked a bit flat without the colour wash.

The white panel is then mounted flat onto a card base as it needed to be posted and arrive without getting squashed.

That's all from me for today... have a great Sunday

You're a Dragon, be a Dragon!

Morning... When I saw the Mama Elephant release back in March I fell in love with these tiny dragons... I had this idea to have one of them sat onto of the sentiment and this was the result of that idea!

I stamped the image onto a panel of neenah solar white card stock and then using the MISTI added the dragon and the little puff of smoke.
I coloured in the dragon in bright purple copic and then added some detail using a white gel pen. To finish it off I stitched around the panel using my sewing machine and the mounted the panel onto a card blank made from lemon lime twist card from Stampin Up.

I have had a couple of messages regarding the items i am using on my card and why no linky.  I did think about it but there are a couple of main reasons I decided not to re-subscribe.
  • The first is that I really want to use all my stash, not just the items that are still available.  I have a lot of retired stamps especially stampin up ones and I found it frustrating to have to add a linky and then a separate list.
  • The second reason is the cost went up significantly compared to what I had paid and I really don't make enough in affiliate commissions etc to warrant paying that much out each month with LinkDeli.
I hope you understand my reasoning but I am trying to remember to write down what I use for each card.  let me know if it would be more useful in a list instead on the post.

That is all from me for this summer Saturday!

Have a great weekend

I Miss You

Morning.... I'm off to London for the weekend, but thought I would share a quick card I made last night for this weeks CAS(e) This Sketch....

I was lucky enough to win a few sheets of the new colours of card stock from SU at a party and since they launch today I decided to use them for this card... They are Gray Granite and Soft Sea Foam ... really love them!

I coloured in the Koala from Avery Elle Peek A Boo Pals using warm grey copic markers. I then fussy cut him out and added a little nuvo drops black to his eyes.

Using the MFT Stitched Circle Frames I cut out 3 layers from Fresh Fig Card stock from SU and layered them adding a back in Soft Sea foam.  I then added the Koala peeking from the frame.  This is mounted onto a rectangle cut out using Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle dies and the whole thing mounted onto a Gray Granite card base.  The sentiment is from the same Avery Elle set.

Here is the CAS(e) This Sketch #274

Elegance

Hello... Today I have a sympathy card for you today.. It's always the card you hate to make so I try to make a few and keep them in a box for if anyone needs them quickly.

I used the Flourishing Phrases set from Stampin Up to stamp the flowers at the top of the panel with nocturne versa Clair ink.  Once I ensured it was completely dry I carefully added some colour using my copic markers.

To add the sentiment I heat embossed the with sympathy sentiment from the same set in silver embossing powder on a scrap of vellum.  I then added this to the panel and mounted it on a black card base.

Its finished off with some clear Nuovo drop on the stamped image for a little bit of dimension and shine.

That's all from me for today... Have a great day

Monkey Business

Hey Y'all.. really quick post for you today.. I'm trying to get ahead of myself before I start my new job next Monday.

I made this card in April for Keirans 10th Birthday using the new Monkey Agenda images from Mama Elephant.

I stamped the little monkeys and coloured them with copic markers.  I then fussy cut them out (I don't tend to buy the dies as I find the cutting out therapeutic). The 10 is cut out using Stampin Up Large Number Framelits (retiring very soon!!) and Lemon Lime Twist card stock.

A panel has been cut out using Avery Elle Pierced rectangle dies and the number 10 added to the top centre.  I then added the little monkeys on 1 mm foam tape and finished off with a sentiment made with the labeller stamps from Stampin Up.

The panel has then been added to a card blank made from Pacific Point card stock from Stampin Up.

That's all from me for today...

Hope Your Birthday Is Swell

Afternoon, sorry I'm late today, took me a while to have time on my lunch to type up this post.

I thought I would join in with this weeks CAS(e) This Sketch #273 and decided I would use a new set I picked up at Port Sunlight before I went on Holiday.

I coloured in the shark from Sea-Prise from Avery Elle with copic markers and then fussy cut it out. From Pool Party card stock (SU) I used the Mama Elephant Stitched Waves to cut out a few sets before layering them onto a card base made from Neenah 110lb.
I slipped in the shark in between the waves and added a sentiment from the same set.

Here is the sketch I used...

2 Peas in a Pod

Morning..  Happy Bank Holiday to those in the UK.... I'm looking forward to a very short work week as I am also off on Friday this week.

I'm hoping the weather today isn't too bad and I can get outside this afternoon after the gym this morning.  I really need to get out on my bike if I'm going to manage the Manchester to Blackpool cycle in a few weeks.

I have a LOTV card for you today using another one of the New Beginnings release from April.

I used the Peas in a Pod stamp and printed it off so it filled most of the card front.  The image is coloured in with copic markers  and then the panel has been trimmed.

I added a sentiment from Hero Arts and then added a doodle border to the white panel before mounting it on some light pink co-ordinations card stock at an angle.  A bit of wink of stella on the hearts finishes off the card.

That's all from me for today...

You Make The World A Better Place

Hey Y'all... I'm back from vacation in Italy after a week travelling around with friend from Australia.  All of my Photo Boards arrived safely so I can now use them for all of my photos.  Remember I have a referral code and you can get 10% off your first order if you use it.  Simply click HERE or on my side bar.

I had fun colouring this stamp on today's card.  When I was in the US I placed a fairly large Stamping Bella order and I could not resist the new unicorn stamps.  This uses Rosie Loves Bernie.

I stamped the image with momento ink onto a panel of Neenah solar white card stock and then coloured in the image with my copic markers.  I tried to have a little fun and create a rainbow mane of hair... I def need a little practice with this!
I added the sentiment from the same set and then used the largest wonky stitch rectangle die from MFT to cut out the panel.
I trimmed down the panel to allow me to offset it on a black card base and then finished it off with some sparkle on the unicorn horn and the hair.

That's all from me for today.. I plan on spending the rest of the day crafting after I have been to the gym

Have a great Sunday

Fab at 40

Howdie ... I'm on a card making roll but today I am sharing another card from last year as I need to take photos and edit the rest of the cards when i get back off vacation.

I made this card for my friend Mel for her big birthday last year. I cut out the Stampin Up Large numbers framelits from glitter card stock and the swirly scribbles thin-let from Bermuda bay card stock.
I added the sentiment from CBS to a piece of white card stock and then added the die cuts onto the base.  The panel is then mounted on smoky slate card stock to finish it off.

Have a great day...

Especially For You

Morning... Very quick card for you today using one of the floral stamps from Clearly Besotted.  I did actually make this card last year but had not been able to share it with you.

I stamped and heat embossed in white the image from the On Your Day set from CBS and then coloured it in using distress oxides.  I then fussy cut it out. I embossed a piece of vellum with the linen plate from Papertrey Ink and mounted that onto a card blank made from Soft Sky Card stock from Stampin Up. Its edges with a piece of white 3mm ribbon and the image added over the top and trimmed where it went over the edge of the blank.
The card is finished off with a sentiment from the Message Me stamp set stamped and white heat embossed on black card stock.

That is all from me for today... I'll be back tomorrow with another card for you

You Passed

Morning.... Hope you all have had a great weekend.  I'm back today with another LOTV card for you and this time its a shaker card.

I have used a fairly new image, Oliver - Driving Test and fussy cut around the image within the frame to give a window.
The image is coloured in with Copic markers and then mounted on some acetate. I used the stripes embossing folder from Stampin Up and real red card stock for the surround. The shaker is filled with little silver stars from Lucys' Little Things.

I added some detail onto the the number plate and then mounted the whole thing onto a white card base.

This card has a little more than what I normally add but its fun making shaker cards once in a while and I loved the idea of him throwing the learner plates in the air!

Hope you all have a fabulous Monday

The Kindness You Show

Hello .... I'm wading through the mass of unused craft stash as I decide what to keep.. I was unsure of this set from this years Sale-A-Bration from Stampin Up but decided to use the flower for this card and add some bright purple from the Amazing You set.

I stamped the image twice and the leaves onto the back panel I die cut using the pierced rectangles from Avery Elle. I then coloured in and fussy cut out the image to add some dimension.  The centre is then filled with black glass glitter.

I added a sentiment from another Stampin Up sentiment and then mounted the panel onto a white card blank.

Hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

Birthday Hugs

Morning.. Here is another card I made last year after I had done my copic 3 class back in September which was colouring Fur.  I completely forgot to post it!

I stamped the squidgy and teddy stamp from Stampin Bella onto neenah card stock and the coloured in with copics and the technique learned at the class for the bear.
I added the sentiment from the same set and then mounted the panel onto a card blank made from Real Red card stock from Stampin Up.

Hope you all have a lovely day...

New Home

Morning... Hope you all had a fabulous weekend... I'm hopefully enjoying the sights of Italy as you read this!

Today I have another CAS LOTV card for you today and its using one of the New Home Trios.  I love digi stamps as you can make the image the size you need for the card.  This one I have made it slightly bigger than what the original rubber trio stamps were.

I coloured in the house image using copic markers and then fussy cut around the circle before mounting it onto  a kraft card stock base.
The sentiment has been added using my tape machine.... I really love this gadget and it reminds me of being a kid again!

That's all from me today.  I hope you all have a lovely Monday.

Sorry I'm Slow

Hey Y'all I have a quick card using a quirky set from Stampin Up.  I had made the distress oxide back ground a while ago whilst messing around and found it in the box of bits.

For the back ground I used Broken China distress oxide by stamping a clear block and then spraying with water and smooching onto the card panel.
I then stamped the Sloth from the Quirky Critters set from Stampin Up and coloured it in with Copics. I re-stamped it onto the background panel so the sentiment was on the background and then fussy cut the one I have coloured it layering it over the top with foam pads.

The card panel is then mounted onto a pistachio pudding card based.  I really do love this background effect.

That's all from me for today

A Little Note

Hey Y'all.... I'm back with a little card for you today using one of my favourite sets from last summers Clearly Besotted release - Just For You

I stamped and heat embossed the floral image from the set on a piece of neenah solar white and then using picked raspberry and peeled paint distress oxides colouring in the image.

I added a sentiment from the same set and then a doodle around the panel before mounting it on Old Olive card stock from Stampin up.

I'm off on a little holiday to Italy this week for some R&R and sight seeing but I will have a some scheduled posts done for next week.

Hope you have a lovely Saturday

Best Guy Ever

Hey Y'all... I'm off on vacation tomorrow and looking forward to a break away and some sunshine. I have scheduled posts whilst I am away as I have somehow become mega organised and have made enough cards plus found a few from last year I had not shared with you.

For this card I used a Stampin Up Sale-a-bration set called Epic Celebrations.... I love how it is perfect for those musical friends.
I stamped the image and the coloured in the guitar body only. I then fussy cut the image out.  For the panel I added a texture stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set.  The sentiment is from the same set as the guitar.  the panel is then cut out using the pierced rectangles from Avery Elle before being mounted on a card blank made from black card stock.

That's all from me today... busy last day in the office ahead of me!

Thank You

Morning Crafty Peeps... I have another card I made last summer to share with you today. Surprising what you find unedited on your laptop when you are sorting it out. I don't even remember making this card!

I used an MFT background and white heat embossed it on neenah card before adding black distress ink using a blender tool to give a chalk board effect.

I added a star cut from Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler card stock and then added a sentiment from avery elle. The piece is then mounted onto a white card panel and then onto a card blank made from cherry cobbler card stock.

I really need to get better at writing down exactly what I use for my cards....

Hope you have a lovely day.. I'll be back soon with more cards to share

Birthday Celebration.. And a Lili Of The Valley 14th Birthday Blog Hop

Hey Y'all... As part of Lili of The Valley's 14th Birthday celebrations we are having a fantastic blog hop with lots of our wonderful, talented Design Team.
You should have arrived here from Kat, but if you didn't then start with Marianne.
Make sure you leave a comment on each birthday post as we will pick 1 comment from 1 blog to receive a £10 LOTV voucher
Join in the fun and you can visit the Lili of the Valley website here  www.liliofthevalley.co.uk

Here is my creation to share with you...

I used the Thanks A Bunch stamp from LOTV and coloured it in with copic markers. I then cut it up to give the angle before adding a simple heat embossed sentiment and a little bit of glitter card.  It is mounted on a card base made from Pear Pizzazz card stock from Stampin Up

Pop on over to Anne's blog for the next stop...  Here is a full list of the blog stops for you...

Welcome Baby

Hey Y'all..... I have a little scene card today for you using this cutie from LOTV.  This is Greg - Just A Note and he was perfect for this new baby card..

I saw THIS off the edge card by Jennifer Mcguire a few weeks ago and it inspired me to do the same with this card.

I started off by colouring in the image with Copics and then marked a line across the top to allow the off the edge piece. I then cut around the top of the balloons.

The hills are cut out of scraps of DSP from Stampin up and then I added a little sign post to give it a final touch. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

I am really trying to keep practicing my copic colouring after attending my Copic 4 with Faye a couple of weeks ago... if you have not tried out any of her classes I really recommend you do!

Hope you all have a fabulous Monday

Cats Meow

Morning... So I am cheating a little with today's card.  I actually made it last summer for my mums birthday but completely forgot to share it with you at the time.

I always make a card for my mum from my kit kats, Jack and Levi.  It started as a joke but turned into a tradition.

I stamped the Cats Meow stamp from Mama Elephant onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock using brown momento ink. I then coloured in part of the image with my copic markers before adding a sentiment using Stampin Ups Labeller Alphabet.
The panel is finished off with a doodle frame before being mounted on more Neenah Desert Storm card stock with foam tape.

I have a few more cards from last summer I didn't manage to share so will add those into my current creation posts over the next couple of weeks.

Hope you have a great day!

Just For You

Morning.... I'm off to Port Sunlight today for the Happy Stampers show so I thought I would share a card using stamps from one of the exhibitors, Uniko Stamps.

I stamped the main image from the Marvellous Mehndi set onto Bermuda bay Card stock from stampin up using versamark ink and then white heat embossed it.
I had planned to use a larger section but I forgot to use the emboss buddy and ended up with powder everywhere.  I trimmed off the good section and then mounted it onto a white panel die cut from the Avery Elle pierced rectangles. The sentiment is from a Waltzing Mouse set and stamped in nocturne versa clair ink.
To finish it off I added some pearls to the mehndi and then mounted the panel onto more Bermuda bay card stock.

I'm really looking forward to today and catching up with crafty friends... give me a shout if you see me there
