On Mother's Day Daisy

Morning all, I've really missed that extra hour in bed today.  Anyhow got to be quick so I thought I would share this with you...

I liked the Butterfly from Less is More so much I did the same with the a Daisy... Papers are Shabby Princess, Image is from Digistamp Boutique, Font is the same as the butterfly.

Hope you like it....

Believe in Faries

Well, this card was supposed to be finished before Saturdays launch of the One Stop Craft Challenge, as even though it wasn't my week on the DT, and I thought I would take part anyhow lol.... But my printer wasn't playing ball and was struggling to print solid areas of black :-(  I've finally sorted now so here is my take on this weeks challenge.....

The image is from this weeks sponsor OSAT, and I have printed it onto papers from the Shabby Princess Promise Collection.  I have then glittered the wings and torn the edges.  It's finished off with a LOTV stamp ( which I have in theory double stamped), black ribbon and some black dewdrops from the Ribbon Girl (Thanks Mary & Andrea for getting these in for me...)

I'm also entering this into this weeks Flutterby Wednesday challenge. Hope you like it....

On Mother's Day Butterfly

I'm back after a few days off from crafting and my first card has to be this weeks Less is More card as I'm normally more on the ball than this.. I even contemplated making one out of bits and pieces at my BFs flat yesterday but I think he may have objected lol.... Anyhow I'll stop waffling and here is my take on this weeks sketch.

The papers are Shabby Princess Promise Collections and I have used the Stripe and Spotty papers. I printed Digistamp Boutiques Butterflies onto the blue spotty paper and then cut it out.  It's then finished with gems and pearls from The Hobby House.  The Ribbon is Smirk 99p roll.  I printed the sentiment onto the striped paper using my PC (Font is A Yummy Apology in italic).

I'm off to finish the rest of my commissions.....I'll be back later I'm sure

Hope you like it

Daisy Daisy

Back again with another card for tonight... I'm still trying to catch up on the challenges I missed from in the week, but new ones keep catching my eye lol.... This one is based on Clean and Simple Stampings FTL #132.... here is the card...

I've used a Kraft card blank and simple added striped paper from Shabby Princess's Festival Collection across the bottom along with a bit of ribbon from my stash.  The flowers are from Digi Stamp Boutique and I have printed them onto a spotty paper from the same Shabby princess collection and then cut each out.  I've moulded(?!?) them around my fingers and added a simple button to finish off the centre of each... Very quick and simple....

Hope you like it

Swinging Along...

I'm back again ( a bit later than planned however) with my second card.... This seemed like a good idea when I started it, and not so much when I was taking the photos lol..... I've used this weeks Sketch from Bev Rochester on LOTVs Thursday Challenge as an inspiration for this card.  I'm also going to enter it into this weeks I Love Promarkers - Men's Card, Charisma Cardz - To Die For and Paper Pretties - Masculine Card.  So I'll stop waffling and here it is.....

The image is LOTVs Hanging around and I've coloured this with my promarkers (Cinnamon, tan, cocoa, spice, ginger, sandstone, blossom, buttercup, tulip yellow, pear, moss and olive green, almond) and then replaced the stamped rope with twine from The Ribbon Girl.  This has then been hung from an aperture cut into the card blank and paper using my nestie dies.  I've also cut the aperture through the matting ( this was done separately and then paper pieced together).  It's finished off with some seam binding in  Oloroso and a couple of buttons from the stash.  The Sentiment is printed from my PC using white text on the top of the digi paper as a back ground.  all papers are vintage florals by shabby princess. I've added faux stiching with a brown fineliner...

Once again sorry about the photos, but I hope you like it anyhow....

It's Your Day....

I'm back after a couple of card making free days due to other commitments and now I'm playing catch up on commissions and my blogging.... night of crafting ahead I think before two long days at Harrogate over the weekend.... My first card tonight is based on the sketch from this weeks Flutterby Wednesdays Challenge.  I'm also entering this into this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge - It's Your Birthday. Here is the card.

The image is LOTV's Bear and Butterfly.  This is the first one I ever bought from them and I've not used it for a while but thought it was perfect for this.  I've coloured it in with promarkers ( Tan, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Denim Blue, Pastel Blue, Rose Pink, Blossom, Ice Grey 1 & 5 and Meadow Green).  I've used my Faber castel oil pencils and sansodor to give a little shading and the butterflies have a little bit of aptly named butterfly kisses diamond sparkles on them.  The papers are Shabby Princess's Express Yourself collection and the Seam binding is pink tulip from The Ribbon Girl. It'f finished off with a sentiment off one of the clear Penny Black sets.

I hope you like it....

Sweet Wonderful You

So on Sunday I picked up some new pro-marker card from Anna Marie Designs at Sincerely Yours @ Leigh.  I used it yesterday for the Man of the Match stamp but wanted to test it with a digi image and my pro-markers together.  It's perfect timing for this weeks Passion for Pro-markers challenge which this week is a sketch by Gro.  Here is my card.

The image I'm using is Pink Petticoats Cupcake Stand which was new out last week.  Pro-markers are ice grey 1 & 3, berry red, lipstick red, orange, burnt orange, duck egg, cool aqua, buttercup, tulip yellow, marsh green, olive green, tan, cinnamon, cocoa and blender (wow that seems a lot for such a small image!).

All the papers are from the promise collection from Shabby Princess (free yippee), the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat Sweet Treats (came on offer with image so I couldn't resist), and the ribbon is one of the Smirk 99p rolls, its a lovely soft grosgrain so easy to tie bows with. It's finished off with a single pearl.

Hope you like it, thanks for visiting
