Autumn Silhouettes

Yes I know, bit early for autumn yet, but I was at Lizy's last night and borrowed these stamps from kanban and I was really struggling with my mojo.... so I just wanted to make a quick card.  I used the sketch from  sweet Sunday sketch 114 as a little inspiration.  Here is the card....

Image is from Kanban Set Autumn Silhouettes and is stamped with rich cocoa memento ink. The spotty paper is In the Meadow from Nitwit collections free with a magazine and the ribbon from a really old making memories ribbon card.  The button from the extras from clothing.

Hope you like it

Blue Sky & Butterflies

Well I was hoping that the sunshine would stay around for a little longer this week but no such luck.  Anyhow, I found it again at Flutter by Wednesday's with this weeks challenge in the form of an inspirational picture with lovely blue sky and daisies.  So here is my inspired card.....

I've used a simple butterfly stamp I picked up in the bargain bin at Hobby Craft after Christmas (sorry I don't know the make), and heat embossed it with Sea foam White Heat It Up powder.  This has been mounted onto teal blue (Nitwits Gingerfella collection) and yellow papers (My Mind's Eye True Blue Collection) which I have distressed at the edges using those plastic templates you used to get from Anita's about 7 or 8 years ago (way before the invention of nestabilites).

This is mounted on a Kraft card blank from paper mania and I have finished it off with some ribbon from the Smirk range, some gold dew drops from The Ribbon Girl and a happy birthday sentiment from Penny Black birthday clear set.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Paper Pretties - Ribbon
I really hope you like this one, it has brought the sunshine back to my day

Balloon Bunny

I thought since it was weekend and all and I would have chance for multiple posts, I'd join in with Friday Sketchers challenge with this little number using LOTVs Balloon Bunny Stamp. I have used what is now my new favourite colour combination, I just hope the photo does the colour justice.  Here is my card....

I have coloured in the image with my promarkers (Ice grey 1,2,4,mulberry, blossom, sky blue, cool aqua, cool grey 1, gold & mango), and mounted the image onto turquiose vellum.  The back ground papers are Pink Petticoat (orchid damask) and Nitwit (Teal dots - Gingerfellastoo collection), and I have run (admittedly upside down) the circle though a cuttlebug embossing folder after cutting out with my nesties. The circle is finished off with a few pearls from Hobby House and the sentiment is printed from my pc (adorable font).

Hope you like it, thanks for visiting today

Two Owls (Little Claire)

Just a little card for today. I decided to use a Little Claire digi image, 2 Owls, for today's card.  I am going to enter this into Little Claire's first ever challenge, Anything Goes. Here is my card for today....

I've coloured in the image with promarkers ( Cocoa, Caramel, Sandstone, Tan, Cinnamon, Vanilla, Pear Green, Marsh Green, Tulip Yellow, Blossom and Rose Pink), then cut out the image with a fine white border, used glossy accents on the eyes and placed a black pearl from The Hobby House onto each one. and mounted it onto Nitwit collection papers ( In the Meadow), these were the free ones with Simply Cards and Papercraft earlier this year. I've printed off a sentiment using my PC (font is "A Little Pot"), and distressed the edges with distress ink in Antique Linen. I've just finished it off with seam binding in  Oloroso from Ribbon Girl.

That's all from me today, hope you like the card
