Box Carting ... CAS Monday With LOTV #11

Morning... wow what a busy weekend... I had a fabulous time on Saturday up at Lili Of The Valley, met some fabulous crafters and hopefully inspired a few as well as being inspired by Fleur and Lou! And then yesterday I had a crafty afternoon with Lizy and Vicky and then spent last night designing a blog for Vicky.. Nothing posted yet but you can see it here!
This weeks CAS Monday card was made on Saturday whilst at LOTV HQ.  I was showing a few techniques and this was the result of them being added together lol!.

Black With A Touch Of White

Morning LIMettes... Can you believe it's Saturday and the first week of the month which means we have a new sponsor and a new colour challenge at Less Is More ! We are delighted to have Lili of the Valley as our sponsor this month.

Anyhow onto the new challenge. This week we want you to use the 

COLOUR OF YOUR FRONT DOOR!

My front door is black with white trim so I've made both my cards mainly black. I'll be back with a  photo later as I forgot to take one :-(

For my first card I simple used some fabulous ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and cut out a V in each piece.  The Sentiment is from Stampin up.  Nice and simple.

My second card uses a technique fairly new to me... I have given the chalkboard effect a go just once before but I thought these fabulous new stamps from the new release at Lili Of The Valley were perfect for it.  This is from the Statement Stamps Set..Just To Say. I simply stamped in in craft white ink from Stampin Up and then once dry rubbed in some white pastel chalk. The ribbon is from Stampin Up also.

I'm demonstrating over at Lili Of The Valley today at the open day, so I hope if you are in the area you can pop over and say hello!!

It's Not In the Stars... Another LOTV Sneak Peek

Morning.. I have another LOTV sneak peek from you this morning using another set from the quotables and a vintage background stamp too.  Now I have gone for something a little different but I hope it's still fairly CAS... They lend them selves well to a bit of vintage and this is my interpretation!

If You Knew You Could Not Fail?

Sorry the day has run away from me today and I completely forgot to post this little cutie this morning... I found this stamp in the bargain bin at the local garden centre... great find! I have paired it with a sneak peek from the new Quotable Range from Lili of The valley.. The sentiment seems perfect!
