Bright Thanks

Hi LIMettes... wow it's Saturday again which means another challenge over at Less Is More.  Before I go onto this weeks challenge I wanted to apologise for the lack of visits over the last couple of weeks.  I have managed very little crafting and time to do anything other than work, eat and sleep...

This week is One Layer Cards and the theme is... Thank You Cards

I have used one of the fabulous new sets from Clearly Besotted.  Just love the bold patterns.

Just Awesome

Morning.. I've had a really busy week and not had a single minute to craft since last Wednesday and I'm really missing it.  I love watching squirrels run around the garden and it made me think of this card I made for a tester project for Papercraft Inspirations a few months ago...

It's a paper pieced project and I really loved doing something so far away from my usual style...  I made the banner using punched paper and folding it over the twine so might have to try this again on a more CAS card..

Hope you are having a great week

Dancing Queen

Morning.... I have the last of my LOTv sneak peeks for you today using the super cute "Dancing Queen".

The stamps will be available on the website tomorrow at 12pm... make sure you go check them out!

A few weeks ago I bought the MFT polaroid die to make some christmas cards.. Lazy I know but there will be at least 50 so thought it was easier than lining up dies and it was under some clutter when deciding what to do with this image.. This is what I came up with...

Card Recipe:
Image: LOTV Dancing Queen
MFT Polaroid die
Sentiment: LOTV
Ribbon: Stampin Up
DSP: Stampin Up

As you may have guessed I've had a recent obsession with polka dots.... I just love them!!  Promise I'll try and use some other papers soon :-)

Have a great Sunday!!

A Burst Of Colour!

Morning LIMettes... I'm not really sure where the month of October disappeared to be honest and this week has just flown by... But as it's the first week of the month at Less Is More it means it's colour week and we have something a little bit different for you this week!  We want to see how the photo below inspires you and see a dark card base with splashes of colour!

Here are my cards...

My first card uses the photo not only for colour inspiration but for the design too.  I simply used a black card base and added a heart of colourful buttons from brights collection at stampin up

My second card uses embossing paste and a stencil and then bright blue glitter.  I have simply added some pearls and a sentiment from pink petticoat.

Have a great weekend!!

Christmas Through a Snowy Window

Morning... I have a different card for you today .. A Christmas shaker card that I made ages ago but found out I had not shared it with you! Last year Poppy Stamps came up with these fabulous window dies and A friend cut me out a couple as I thought they were perfect to use for shaker cards.

I have used My Mind eye papers (the ones I never use with scenes on) behind the acetate and then filled with white flower soft!
It's not as clean and simple as my current stuff but I loved having a go at a different technique!

So glad it's Friday today ... it's been a week like no other and not even had time to blink :-(

See you all tomorrow for a new Sketch Saturday challenge and of course the new Less Is More Challenge!
