Black & Pink - Monochrome @ LIM

Happy Saturday LIMettes.... Can't believe it's time for another challenge at Less is More and this week it's monochrome.  So I thought about traditional Black and White... but in the end I thought the pink would be far more dramatic... here it is...

The stamps are Tim Holtz from stamper anonymous and they are stamped with black memento onto a pink card blank that I had previously ruined lol.  This is then cut out with a nestie. I've added yet another butterfly and then I've then used an embossing folder (I'll try and find out the name lol) and then and a little bit of ribbon.  It was a 6 x 6 card blank but due to the embossing folder not being quite wide enough... I had to trim it slightly lol.

I'll be back later in the week and I promise I'll have time for some more commenting this week :-)

  4. Looks like we have a bit of a hybrid here Jen... I think that we really should have had either black and white or shades of pink... but here we have black AND pink!
    It's a pretty card nevertheless.
If you could link back to our challenge that would be great... just in case folk don't know where to find us!

  11. Fantastic card Jen
Sorry to echo Chrissie, but monotone is shades of one colour. Whilst the pink and black is striking, its not monotone
    Thanks as always
